The room is located halfway up the mountain, clean and sanitary, with free parking. Although there is no breakfast, there are simple meals in the morning. It is very close to the north gate by car from the hotel, which is very convenient for tourism.

We had a comfortable stay at Roosevelt Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We called ahead to let them know we were expecting a package to be mailed to us; Kennedy took great care to make sure we received it. Thank you Kennedy and Roosevelt Inn for a wonderful stay.

We arrived an hour before normal check in and Reeva checked us in early and had the room ready. She was super friendly and shared stories with us. She made the entire stay even more enjoyable. The Inn and suite we stayed in was next level, it was taking a step back in time. Plus for added benefit, it’s only 2 miles from the beautiful Mt Rushmore. The next day we left around 6:30 and Reeva was there again getting breakfast ready for everyone. Since we left before the 7 am breakfast, Reeva hooked us up with some to go snacks. You don’t get that service with the big hotels. Five star for the Roosevelt Inn!

This is a great value for the price. It's not the Ritz, but it's clean and comfortable and has a lot of ambiance -- with quirky bits of history about Roosevelt and the carving of Mt. Rushmore.
