Inn of Uvalde

The first room they gave me, has broken curtains would not close. There was only one towel even though i reserved it for two. The room looked old. The floor was dirty behide the bathroom door. When i told them, they upgraded me for $60 more. The new room was bigger and a little nicer but it only had a fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. I was there for 3 nights and housekeeping never came. I had to go to the front to ask for fresh towels. I also had to call front desk because noone came to take the trash. I had a 13 gallon trash bag that i brought with me. It was fill with trash. Front desk said that housekeeping was coming but they never did. I saw housekeeping on my last evening at 3pm cleaning downstairs rooms. (I was upstairs). By 6pm the housekeeper was still cleaning downstairs rooms by herself. One lone housekeeper. She never came to the upstairs rooms. I never saw other housekeepers. Years ago there was a great restaurant and bar downstairs but the restaurant has cut ties with this hotel and they have moved. Oveall i would not recommend this hotel.

A state of disrepair, nonfunctioning heating/cooling unit and shower. The non-smoking room stank of cigarette smoke and the carpet was so old and was crusty under my feet. The reinforcement multiple time that the room was non-refundable should have been my first clue. The lobby in disrepair and locked doors was another major clue.

Don’t even know where to begin, 1) no smoke detector 2) scorching hot bath, no cold water broken handle 3) Broken toilet, non stop running water 4) no chair or microwave 5) deposit for accidental trying to get it back, motel staff would want to walk your room 6)

Some rooms were renovated and some weren’t. Unrenovated rooms were missing lights, drawers missing, water damage, moldy smell.

VERIFY what type of room you’re getting. I arrived to discover there was a renovated and unrenovated option. Unfortunately I unknowingly booked an unrenovated room based on renovated pictures. I tried to get a refund and it was not an option. I upgraded to the renovated room for an additional $43 per night. The renovated rooms are not so “renovated.” The furniture appears to be from another hotel that did renovations. Other rooms were in the process of renovations. Be prepared for some noise. All in all, we paid for 2 nights. The stay was uncomfortable so we stayed one and decided to drive home the second.

I was moved here after making a reservation at one of their other motels (motel 6) where I found yellow stains on the sheets, no pillow case on a pillow, dirty bath tub, dirty refrigerator and overall dirty room. They would not refund me and said we could move to the inn of Uvalde where the rooms were recently renovated and they had new beds. When we checked this room we found hair in the beds, mice droppings, stained fabric headboards and a large stain on the bathroom ceiling that had mold and was actively leaking water onto the toilet lid and floor. I was not about to stay and requested a refund which was denied!

Reserved King in renovated hotel, room was not cleaned so offered old room OR pay for renovated room? Usually when I hotel is not cleaned which is there responsibility they upgrade with No Charge. Last time staying here BE AWARE NO REFUND POLICY TOO

Toilet had to be plunged after almost every use. Tub and sink were cracked and stained. Police came to evict the room nextdoor. Loud fight from 2am to 3am one night. Found a hair in my sheets. Refrigerator and microwave shared the same plug. The room was in poor condition with damaged carpet and damaged tile. Despite the bad condition, the room seemed like it was clean.

We stayed here for our dove hunt weekend. It was convenient to our lease and a good value.
