The service was impeccable. The staff were very friendly and generally able to communicate in English. Their service is so good that they wipe down all your luggage upon arrival at the hotel, and my bags came out cleaner than when I came! The food also left us speechless. I’ve never tasted such a delicious meal, and I consider myself a foodie. The dishes were prepared fresh right in front of us. Every detail was attended to, from presentation to taste. It deserves a 100% without a doubt. Since I had a food allergy, they were careful to leave out the allergen in all the foods. I was really thankful for that, because it’s not always a given at Asian restaurants. The establishment itself is dated, but that’s why we chose it in the first place- to feel the aura of tradition. Having said that though, it was slightly inconvenient that there was no shower inside our room. However, it wasn’t too much of a problem because the shared shower/onsen room was just a short distance from our room, and it was generally not occupied. When we stayed there, there was a storm going on, so the the rain crashing on the window and the outside blinds gave off a spooky feeling, which added to the sense of adventure.

Everything is very good, the room is big, but the Kobe beef set meal that you can enjoy with extra money (5500yen@1), the amount of beef is too small🤣

A century-old store with warm rooms. No reservation is required for the hotel's private soup. The waiters are all young people and are very nice. They explain the use of the facilities in detail. Breakfast and dinner are very good. You can watch the chef's work while dining in the restaurant. A Chinese lady.

Environment: Very good. It is a B&B in a hot spring town. The room is like the style of the Taisho era. It has a very nice feel and the room is large. It was a great stay. Hygiene: Very good. You must take off your shoes when entering the B&B. Service: Very good. From the moment we walked in to the room we were greeted by dedicated ladies who introduced us to the various facilities in the B&B, the usage hours of the hot springs, etc. Because the buttons on my coat fell off, I tried to borrow a sewing kit, but I didn’t expect it to actually be there. The service was very considerate! The most commendable thing is the food. The kaiseki meal in the evening was really delicious. The only drawback was that there were so many dishes that I couldn't eat them anymore in the end, but it tasted really good. The drink was plum wine mixed with local specialty sparkling water, which was very special! There are 2 hot springs in the B&B, both with gold and silver hot springs. They are open all night. As long as the owl light in the corridor is not lit, it means that no one can go to the hot springs at will. It is really comfortable! All in all, highly recommended!

The lady at the front desk is the best English-speaking Japanese I have encountered. The service is attentive and attentive. The staff inside pay attention to the needs of customers at all times. I had the kaiseki style mushroom soup for breakfast. I liked it very much. I will miss the private bath when I go back. You can go there anytime as long as there is no one in there. It’s great. The golden bath is really smooth and cool. The hotel is not big or small. Not only is it exquisite and beautiful, it’s a great experience in Japan.

Let me tell you a lesson. The cover photo is all photoshopped. The hotel is very old. The windows in the room make a clanging sound when the wind blows. The ceiling bangs when you walk upstairs. The so-called Kobe beef dinner only has seven or eight pieces of meat the size of a beverage bottle cap. The bathroom is even worse. Just look at the pictures...

A perfect spa experience. Personally I think the price/performance ratio is very high. Exquisite cuisine. Traditional Japanese architecture and beautiful landscaping. I hope I have the chance to go again and be sure to stay for two more days.

A comfortable B&B that exceeded expectations, both the bath and the food were amazing! The dinner refreshed my stereotype of Japanese cuisine being overly refined. They selected the highest quality common ingredients and cooked them using traditional charcoal grilling to create a delicious meal full of fireworks! The service is very good. The private soup is great. The kaiseki cuisine is great. However, the heating in the room is insufficient and it is very cold. I brought a heater to make it better.

The food is great, the public facilities are very good, and the hotel's private hot spring bath is a novel experience. But the room was still too noisy. I didn’t know where the humming sound came from, as well as the sounds of other guests in the corridor and upstairs, which made me not sleep well at all.
