Kobe Harbor
Location was fantastic with a great view of Kobe bay. However the hotel is a little old and being by the bay meant having many pests. Every room came with a little balcony which was perfect at night

Wonderful hotel. Nothing less than what I'd expect from Japan. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. They let us store our bags before the room was ready and gave us some water. The room was really clean and the bathroom was large for Japanese standards. The view was beautiful from our room. Also the hotel has a great bar/restaurant at the top with an even better view. A hidden gem! See the attached picsThe location is also great. It's right above Shin-Kobe station which is so convenient. Also next to the hotel is the cablecar that takes you up the mountain to the Nunobiki herb garden. I had no idea what this was until I stayed at the hotel. My friend and I checked it out and it was actually really cool, highly recommend!I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Kobe.

The hotel is situated right in the commercial and shopping district so there were plenty of choices for dining and shopping. I liked the fact that you could buy boxes of chocolates from Kobe's speciality chocolatier, Franz, from the front desk. The price was quite reasonable For the value.

Located at the port of Kobe this Hotel is at a location with great view to the port. On foot easy to reach the Mosaic at the port with many restaurants and bars, but also only 15 minutes walk to Sannomiya the city center of Kobe. I also like this Hotel because the rooms are really spacious and not like typical Japanese business hotels. As part of their health club they also have a 25m standard indoor swimming pool, sauna and hot Japanese bath, outdoor pool, tennis court, etc.. The breakfast is rich and has western and Japanese food to offer. The Japanese restaurants both are excellent and provide good service, but unfortunately close quite early, so late night dinner not possible. Most of the staff speak good English. A little disadvantage is that you cannot earn points on their loyalty program when booked through an agent. All in all a very good hotel and worth the money.
