The Pandora Resort at Chaweng Neach appealed to us because we had read such good reviews about ************. The catch is, just like here on Tripadvisor, that these reviews are older. And, incomprehensibly, there are also recent reviews that describe this system as very good. Why is it a mystery to me? We were here in February and were very disappointed. We would have preferred to cancel again, but that wasn't possible. The facility appeared neglected and the colors faded. The reception was a junk room, our room was quite colorful and the wall shapes were rather confusing. My friend immediately hit her head on a cross arch above the bed. The bathroom was an absolute disgrace. The hot water didn't work or wasn't working enough. Plus the toilet seat was so disgustingly old and frail. This should have been replaced long ago. The bathroom fan was loud as hell and actually unusable. All the lighting in the room and bathroom was subpar. The air conditioning was not effective enough. Actually every technical part was somehow worn out. The operating couple was very nice and accommodating, but they only made half an effort to help with hot water. The residential complex should actually be demolished and renovated. The photos in the advertising depictions of the system seem fresh and the system is somehow in order when you are there live, unfortunately that is not the case. The Corona period has probably brought everything down. For over €65 per day, it's way too expensive and just annoying. I would strongly advise against booking.
