Robinson Daidalos

Beautiful facility and location, super fine food, fantastic fitness classes, beautiful ambience, friendly staff - almost everything was great. BUT: For families who want childcare for 7 to 12 year old children, unfortunately quantitatively and sometimes qualitatively insufficient. The care times are so short that you cannot attend a single one of the great fitness sessions or even play a tennis lesson with your partner. In the morning from 10.30 a.m. to 12 p.m., although by 11.45 a.m. it was usually already finished. In the afternoon from 4.15 p.m. to 6 p.m., although most of the time it was already over by 5.45 p.m. If you are a family on the beach below, you have to leave at 4 p.m. to drop off the children at 4.15 p.m. At 4.30 p.m. you are back on the beach as parents and have to jet off again at 5.30/45 p.m. to pick up the children upstairs. There is also no lunchtime menu for the children. There is no time for leisure (even for two), tennis or fitness classes - unless you talk to your partner. But then you can completely do without the 'child care'. We paid EUR 23'000 for 17 days for a family with 3 children. On the first day we found two coffee capsules in the room. If you also want to enjoy coffee in your room on the following days, you have to buy the coffee capsules in the shop. A coffee capsule costs EUR 1! I find that pretty ugly. The saving effect is small, the frustration of coffee lovers is great. The wine was all inclusive, but unfortunately inedible, which is surprising given the prices. We then bought the wine ourselves. Two cups of coffee in the room every day and at least one decent wine would not be too much to ask given the amount paid. All in all almost everything great. But child care, wine and coffee flop! Since we are still dependent on childcare, we will not be coming back in the next few years. Unfortunately! But who knows, maybe that will change. I hope so!

We stayed at this club for two weeks during the holidays with two small children (4 and 6 years old). It was our first vacation on vacation and in a club. In summary, we can say that we felt very comfortable and will definitely stay here again. What totally surprised us was that the two weeks were totally different. In the first week there were a lot of families as they were very pleasant, the bar was quite full in the evenings, but the volume was okay. Since we had to go to bed earlier because of the children, that was pleasant. In the second week there were more older party guests and since the holidays started in BaWü, many families from there, often large families with grandma and grandpa, who besieged the whole pool. And what can one say, the prejudice about the thrifty Swabians doesn't seem to be just a prejudice - the bar was emptier (drinks have to be paid for :-) ), but this was compensated for by the childless couples who were more willing to party and drink. However, it wasn't uncomfortable, we continued to feel comfortable, it was just different. Since the club is not a pure family club, you have to be able to live with loud party music - in the case of DJ Ronaldo - until 12:30 a.m. Of course, the club is also very well suited for sports enthusiasts, which is no new information for Robinson regulars. There is something for everyone, yoga, spinning, gym, cyclists, etc. etc.! I can't list all the offers, surfing and sailing are also very important here. Since I tore my Achilles tendon a few months before the holiday, I couldn't try anything of the sort, but only did my exercises in the very well equipped gym. But there would even have been a physio on site that I could have used. All in all a very nice holiday, it was fun, we felt comfortable, a very motivated animation team, not pushy - as you would wish. There are always little things to complain about, but on a high level. If you're looking for a pure children's club with a water play paradise, this isn't the place for you, but that's not the club's claim either. If you want to criticize something, then maybe that the club is getting old, the rooms and the area could be renovated and some things could be renewed. But everything is super clean and the green areas are well maintained.

Our goal of just having a good time, of having a real holiday with all our heart and soul, was fully achieved. The club is very well maintained, has a dream beach and a beautiful a**osphere. We were particularly impressed by the team on site, who work hand in hand. This is certainly also due to the fact that the club manager himself is always approachable and on site. A real plus for me: the commi**ent to animal welfare, which is very clear in the complex with the placement of street dogs and the nursing of cats on site. Tip for the room: Rooms 201 - 206 and 230 - 236 are very central but still quiet.

As always in our reviews, we don't always want to repeat what the previous speakers have already done diligently here. We would rather give you a few tips / information here that we may not have seen in the other reviews. Since we traveled with a child (4 years), we also have a few more tips for parents. In general, we had a wonderful stay in a really well-kept complex. As always with Robinson, the feeling of being "at home" applies here after arrival. The facility is very spacious. If you don't want to walk that far to your room in the evening, you can choose the room of your choice. The 500 rooms start around where the end of the escalator is. We had a room in the 600 area. From the beach, including the elevator and escalator, it was actually 14 minutes to the room. But it was wonderfully quiet for us, even if it was louder on the chessboard :) So decide for yourself what is more important to you, short distances or even more peace and quiet ;-) We don't actually use the laundry, but traveling with children makes that sometimes unavoidable. You can find the laundry close to the Greek Square towards the apar**ent blocks. What is positive to mention here is that the detergent (pods) is provided free of charge at the reception. Maybe it's the same in other RC's, we hadn't used it until now, but found it very positive. Dryer was also available. As always, the sports program is very varied, here again a special compliment to Simon and Krystina for the always successful and entertaining spinning courses despite the effort. In addition, we also used the private training with Tristan (Do Tri Sport). This costs extra, but it's worth it. My wife and I loved it. Your personal goals will be addressed in detail and lots of ideas and exercises for at home will be provided. The way Tristan organizes the training/unit is just great and incredibly professional. Thanks for that! We also did a bike tour (family tour) with the club's third-party provider to the Pfauental. A child seat for the bikes is also available and can be borrowed. Since we were the only guests on this tour, we were able to enjoy very special care. The trip itself was fun for all of us and we can only recommend exploring the island by bike. Rental cars can be rented directly from Hertz and are available directly at the club. Of course, because of this convenience, you pay a little more than “outside”. Nevertheless, we used it to go to Kos town and the surrounding area. Driving time approx. 35 minutes. Good child seats (Britax Römer) for rental cars are also available on site.
