Really lovely, well equipped, clean apartment, right by the square, The apartment had a toaster, coffee machine, microwave and there were pots of coffee, tea, sugar, and filter coffee to use. There was also a dishwasher, and there were dishwashing tablets in the drawers, The ladies we spoke to on the office were very helpful. Check in was easy and they explained our breakfast choices and delivery. There was plenty of breakfast! We were even allowed to arrange breakfast for 5am one morning so that we could have it before a trip. We were in the top floor “Travellers” apartment, so we had no overhead noise. The approach to the downstairs office is up a dark and rather uninviting passageway but the apartment, breakfast, staff and price were brilliant and we would stay here again!

To choose a name for a business like ‘Sleeping in Krakow’ is obviously somebody’s idea of a joke. The last thing you can expect to get here is a good night’s sleep. We stayed in the lower floored apartment, although to access it we had to negotiate several flights of stairs. With a small child and a pram it was difficult to say the least. But being on a lower floor meant we had another apartment above us, which presumably was a popular thoroughfare for herds of migrating Wildebeest. With no acoustic insulation between floors, we were fully aware of each of the above apartment’s occupants at quite literally any point of their stay, way into the early hours of the morning. Add to that the noise from the 2 bars immediately below the apartments, which also continued way into the wee small hours, it is without exaggeration that I say we had almost no sleep at all, and just to put the tin lid on it.. one of the bars took no shame or consideration in loudly discharging the contents of their bottle bins into the recycling containers located in the yard below our window at approximately 2 hour intervals, the last one was despatched around 3.30 in the morning. Throw into all of that, you also have the loud singing and shouting in the streets as people leave the pubs and just now… at 05.30… somebody again in the yard below, banging about cleaning a bin it sounds like. There is a huge conflict of interest going on here, the room providers are trying to run a successful accommodation business against the odds. Soundproofing of rooms is not possible because of the age and protected integrity of the building, and the operators of the pubs below really do not care one bit about the comfort of anybody sleeping there. We did of course bring this to the attention of our host in the office below after our first sleepless night, but with not much more than a shrug of the shoulders, it was clear my theories were correct. The room itself is delightful. Everything you could possibly want is provided and is of high quality, The delivered breakfast is lovely, fresh and delicious. It seems such a shame that factors beyond the control of the property owners are spoiling the overall experience. If you like to party into the night and heavily sleep off your merriment in a delightful apartment, then you will love it here. If you are an early to bed, early to rise type of person, or a family with small children, then this may not be the best choice for you.

This is a lovely apartment and is in a great location just off the main square. We stayed on the third floor which usually wouldn't be a problem for me but I'm 7 months pregnant and I was travelling with my 60 year old mother so walking up 80 steps with a suitcase and then each time coming back to the apartment was a challenge. Now, the no sleep part... the curtains in the apartment aren't really curtains, you can see through them so soon as the suns up so are you. There's a bar a few doors down on the same street that does karaoke till the early hours of the morning and you can hear everything. Then on Monday morning at 6am there were builders bawling and shouting outside and then started drilling! So I've probably had the two worst nights sleep I've ever had here which is a shame because the apartment is great. If you stay here bring ear plugs and an eye mask.

Firstly I would like to say that this accommodation organised (for a reasonable fee) a driver to pick us up from the airport. This was great and the driver was helpful and friendly. Instantly we had a positive first impression. The lady in the office was friendly and check in was prompt. The apartment was spotless and lovely and warm on arrival. The levels with a double bed, kitchen area, dining table and chairs and shower room downstairs. Second level included a camp type bed on the landing with a TV and in the large bedroom there were 3 single beds. Also another bathroom with a shower. The heating could be adjusted with a thermostat which was great so we're neither overheating or freezing. The location was perfect. Just off the main square. You do have to walk through a very short path past a pub premise and through a small courtyard/gate to go up the stairs but we were after all in the city. Would definitely recommend.
