Amber Design Residence

Krakow|0.07km from Moo Moo Steak & Burger Club
First of all, if you are coming from the train station, this hotel is a breeze to find, and has a good spot on a quiet side street, away from the mania to explore from. There is also a tram interchange under 5 mins walk away, and two excellent beer bars so cant fault the location. The hotel itself is unassuming, clean, professional and i was especially impressed by the staff who, spoke embarrassing good English (cf my non existent Polish). They were happy to recommend places to go, and helped me sort directions on the trams (which i recommend using). The bedroom was spacious, clean, and did all the things you expect it to do. Small gripe was that i had a ground floor room with a balcony, which opened directly onto the outside space for guests, affording little or no privacy. I wouldn't have paid for the extra to have this had i known it was ground floor as i never used it and also had to keep those curtains closed all the time as those outside could have seen in, affecting the light in the room (not that i was in there much!) My only reason for not giving this hotel 5* is the breakfast arrangements, If you, like me, need to throw on clothes and drink coffee before making any decision in the morning, then walking the admittedly only 200 m to the cafe which serves the breakfast will be a chore. The menu is not the widest, is quite local focused, and actually, for someone who would just want coffee and a bowl of cereals, would be very excessive. The option to at very least have a buffet of coffee and some toast / cereal first in the hotel before crossing for food would have been welcome. However, personal choice as i am not a morning person and others will find this no issue at all. Recommended if you don't mind the breakfast arrangements and you want a quiet location first and foremost.

Garamond, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
4.5/556 Reviews
I made a 2-day trip to Krakow. My friend recommended me a hotel in the old town near the station and the center where I wanted to visit. The Garamond Hotel is a beautiful, cozy hotel in the historic building. What attracted me from the entrance was the wide smiles of the service. After a few hours of rest I asked you about the possibility of booking a table in the restaurant - it turned out in connection with numerous bookings, the first available table is on 21 but a nice lady in the reception assured me that it was worth waiting and she showed the menu. She was right. We had a delicious cancer soup and pie in the truffle sauce. I ordered for dinner Amaretto sour and the husband's local beer. The drink came out of surprise on a small plate, with a popcorn and decorated with a hot sweet foam - miracle ! I recommend and encourage - if someone wants a nice and careful care for a small amount of money, he should definitely come here.
Hotel Elektor Premium

I recently stayed at Hotel Elektor in Krakow and overall think it was a nice hotel, nice size, clean room with a location that was easy to get to from the Airport/Train and close enough to walk to everywhere. My only negative would be the AC as it wasn't good, at all. Luckily it didn't get insanely hot during my visit but on the 1st day I set the AC from 24 to 21 and after 3 days it still never got lower then 22. I would consider staying here again but if it's hot weather I would not stay. If this isn't a factor for you, or not going there in the heat of summer, definitely stay here

Wonderful, friendly, hotel. It was very clean, walkable within a few minutes to the town square and other sites, and the staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Great breakfast for 60 zlotys. PS: the bathroom, while new and fully renovated, is old style with a tiny shower, which might feel cramped to people who like a lot of space.
Campanile Krakow Old Town
4.1/589 Reviews
The room is large, there is a place to put the box, but the bed is not big, not far from the old town and the train station, probably in the middle. There is a music school in the hotel, and there are always students from the college who are practicing the piano and passing out beautiful music. I don’t know if the air conditioner in the room is broken, not too cool, the house is quite tidal, the other is ok, there is breakfast, but the variety can not eat much.

Just arrived home after 4 nights in this hotel, great value for money, 30 seconds from the square, staff amazing, very helpful and friendly, breakfast in the basement very very good, rooms are massive and cleaned every day, its the little things that made it, fresh water every day, fresh towels daily, and on valentines day the towels were made into swans on the bed, hotel printed our plf forms for our return to the UK no questions asked, cant wait to return to this hotel, the best 1 i have stayed in the 5 times ive been to Krakow.
