Bed was comfortable. Furniture was new and clean...same for the bathroom. The room was hot. The air-conditioning was not working and when we asked about it, we were told that the cool air system hadn't been turned on. It was miserable during the day and uncomfortable at night. However, the room was advertised as having air-conditioning. Not much good if it's not able to be used. The bathroom door was about 1/3 meter from the side of the bed next. The door was a glass type of nearly see-through material. It would be fine if you were alone, but awkward otherwise. Finally, the parking was 14€ a night. At other Sercotel hotels there was no charge. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Very convenient

Very central hotel, excellent staff treatment, large room, very comfortable bed, a hotel to return, has parking, very varied continental breakfast, provided us city plan and recommendations to visit, Congratulations to the staff and address of the hotel, thank you for the good treatments you have made.

We arrived very early since we had to drop off our rental car in the train station. There was a reserved parking space in front of the hotel to drop off our luggage and do the check in. This was great. We were able to return the car and start walking the city without having to drag the suitcases to the hotel. We came back to the hotel at about 3:00pm. Our room was very nice. The decor was very pretty. There was enough space in the room and the bathroom to feel comfortable. The hotel was very nice. The location not the best to be close to the center of town, but it worked for us since the next day we walked to the train station to take the train back to Madrid.

What a find. Thank you to other reviewers. We were driving through Spain in a classic car so like a hotel with secure parking which isn't too much of a detour from the motorway. This hotel fits the bill and even has additional underground parking at no extra charge. The hotel is in a historic building with lovely grounds, a short taxi ride into Valladolid (we didn't have time to do this). Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. On the back of other reviews wedined in the restaurant and are, so glad we did. A fabulous chef and waited on with pride by Juan (who was happy to speak English) and charm. A hugely hospitable overnight stop. We will be back on our next trip and make time to visit the old town centre too.

The receptionist was delightful and extremely helpful. We felt immediately welcome in this hotel. The bar man was also welcoming, and the bar and outside area was very pleasant. Our room in this splendid hotel was spacious with tasteful furniture, beautiful wallpaper and elegant pictures of dancers framed on the walls. Our room was impressive, the bathroom was bigger than some bedrooms we had encountered so far in the journey and the bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable with a really accommodating writing desk and armchairs to relax in. The bathroom had the largest bath towels so far provided. The furniture throughout the hotel was matching in design and had style. The hotel had strikingly good lifts and spacious gathering places. Right outside the main door was a boulevard with plane trees and across from it a large park with numerous tame squirrels and an aviary of assorted colourful caged birds ranging from chickens to budgerigars. There were many places to eat nearby. Breakfast was good. In our journey from England to Portugal this was definitely the best value for money hotel we encountered. The entrance to the underground carpark is daunting at first but easier to get out of than it feels to get in. We hope one day to return.
