It's understandable that BBQ is grilled outdoors, but seafood is not allowed in the room, and there is no indication on the website that seafood cannot be brought into the room. You can neither cook nor eat in the room at night, and the kitchen facilities are not complete, making the hotel experience extremely poor. It is a fraudulent consumption and I will not stay here again in the future.

Just spent 5 nights here in Unit 1. I was also here last year in unit 2. Great reception by Marty, co-owner, I knew all about it as a previous guest. The cabin are set in a quiet location in the centre of town thus very convenient to beach, shops, restaurants etc. My cabin was big enough for me, good to have a separate bedroom, comfortable furnishings and good appliances, cutlery and crockery. Owners Marty and Rebecca were always on tap to provide advice. I will return. Highly recommended, 10/10.

Great hosts and a well set up unit - the fresh flowers were a perfect touch and we got good tips on the local area including where to get our morning coffee and eat. Excellent value and location for our two night/thee day golf trip. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous cabin, so clean and comfortable and parking right beside us. We had a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 of us, so plenty of room. The lovely Rebecca met us to check in and provided useful information about the area. Cabin had great kitchen facilities, bed was comfy, modern bathroom that includes a washing machine and fold up frame to dry the clothes on. Position is great right across the road from the pedestrian bridge to the surf beach. Shops and cafes all very close by. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Lovely thick and thirsty brand new towels.,loved our stay as usual we are regulars and have been coming yearly Rebecca and Marty are great hosts and cannot do enough for you We arrived earlier than anticipated and we were able to enter the units earlier thank you Marty So close and handy to everything We love fishing so they have a fridge where they let us store our fish and also provide a cleaning area outside We went on a luncheon cruise which we booked locally and were very lucky to see dolphins on our trip Will be back again Thank you Rebecca Marty and Matilda

Loved these modern holiday units. The owners Marty and Rebecca couldn’t do enough for everyone, so helpful and welcoming. The location is fabulous as are the facilities and extras inside and outside. Would highly recommend a stay here and would love to come back one day all the way from Scotland.

Group of four stayed in a three bedroom unit for two nights for the Gippsland Lakes Challenge. It was comfortable, quiet, convenient (opposite race finish line!) and all mod cons thought of. Plenty of room for our boats.Can't wait to visit again!

Stayed in December, I recommend Beachcomber 100%. Location is perfect, you can walk to everything !! cabins are clean and comfortable Owners Rebecca, Marty and Matilda are great people. Can not fault it !

Top location, directly across from the main beach, top accommodations for a reasonable price, but what made our stay even better was the professional and friendly service, Rebecca and Marty are the best, I would confidently recommend Beachcomber Holiday units to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
