SSR99Fuss free check-ins and can’t complain about the rooms - it was sufficient. They do offer earlier breakfast hours (4am onwards) but I did not take them so I don’t know how it is this might be helpful for those going for early flights! Location is near the airport but far from everything else tho it is a small city after all. Quite affordable option nonetheless and had a smooth check-in experience.

WaixiI recently stayed at the Medici Lifestyle Hotel and had a lot to say about the experience. The hotel has a very unique style, as if you were in a museum, and the overall atmosphere and decoration were impressive.
Pros:
Specialty style: The hotel's decoration style is very unique and full of artistic atmosphere. Whether it is the lobby, corridors or public areas, there are many artworks and antiques, as if you are in a private museum, which is very worth watching.
Location: The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many attractions and restaurants, and it is very convenient to travel. This saves us a lot of time and energy when visiting the city.
Service: The hotel's service is very thoughtful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very smooth. The room service is also timely and meets our various needs.
Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The gym and other public facilities are also well maintained and very convenient to use.
Cons:
Decoration in the room: Although the overall style is unique, the decoration in the room can sometimes make people feel a little scary. The design of some artworks and antiques is exaggerated, which may not suit every guest's taste, especially when alone at night, it may feel uncomfortable.
Overall, the Medici Life Hotel is a very special accommodation choice. Its unique museum style and artistic environment are very suitable for travelers who like art and culture. Although the decoration in the room may be a bit scary, it does not affect the overall accommodation experience. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can provide a unique place to stay.

George HuaWe come to this hotel every year, and we can see the facilities in the room degrading. The were fine around 2016 to 2019, after covid lock down, when we were back in 2023, still good, and 2024, fine. Till this year, 2025, the toilet flush is half broke, shower head is not in good condition. Breakfast service is shrank, no more take away coffee cups.

The staff are courteous and friendly and the breakfast is very tasty.
It is convenient to arrive and depart from the central Station and also close to shopping, dining and sightseeing.
I really liked the design and the ambience in the hotel because they don't have loud music (it was very pleasant).

ChenzhiliThis is a great hotel with new facilities, perfect for exhibitions and tourism. It's definitely worth choosing, especially given its excellent location close to both the train station and the exhibition hall. The hotel also has a cafe, ideal for chatting with friends or business associates.

The front desk staff were very kind.
The towels were fluffy, pure white, and high-quality.
The sheets were clean, and the room was thoroughly cleaned.
There was an in-room oil heater, so I could easily adjust the temperature.
From the window of my 6th-floor room, I could see the birds chirping in formation in the apartment across the street.
The shower had plenty of water pressure, although adjusting the temperature was a little difficult.
The room itself is old, but the walls had been nicely repainted.
One thing to note, however, is that the elevator only goes up to the 5th floor, so if you're assigned a single room on the 6th floor, you'll have to carry your heavy suitcase up the stairs by yourself. If you're not confident in your physical strength and mobility, it's best to choose a room on the 5th floor or lower.

TravellingDivaGreat hotel that's easy to find and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. There's also a metro/tube stop close by
The reception staff were friendly and welcoming unlike the bar man who completely ignored me but served other guests who happened to be white!
Breakfast was good and there was lots of choice.
The bedroom was spacious with a nice bathroom.
I particularly loved the huge work area near reception which had lots of seating, quiet booths and power points
I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel but for people of colour, be aware that the bar man obviously has an issue- I simply walked down the station where there are lots of places to grab your own drinks and hot food. The hotel also allows you to order food in.

JavanworldThe room was predictably small. When I first arrived, the white door wasn't opening, and I wasn't sure how to get in! 😂 Turns out, the door right next to it just pushed open.
The breakfast was nothing special either, just cereal, milk, bread, and various cheeses.
The location is quite convenient for the train station, making transfers easy.
I think for Chinese travelers, this would generally be considered a very ordinary hotel. In China, hotels nowadays usually have pretty good decor and a modern feel, whereas European hotels are generally smaller and older.
