We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do. To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made. That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation. Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed. Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude. In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.

Fuss free check-ins and can’t complain about the rooms - it was sufficient. They do offer earlier breakfast hours (4am onwards) but I did not take them so I don’t know how it is this might be helpful for those going for early flights! Location is near the airport but far from everything else tho it is a small city after all. Quite affordable option nonetheless and had a smooth check-in experience.

The room was very clean, and the location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to downtown, which was super convenient. The only downside was the absence of a refrigerator or minibar, which I would have expected from a 4-star hotel. Other than that, everything was great!

The hotel has a very unique style, as if you were in a museum, and the overall atmosphere and decoration were impressive. Pros: Specialty style: The hotel's decoration style is very unique and full of artistic atmosphere. Whether it is the lobby, corridors or public areas, there are many artworks and antiques, as if you are in a private museum, which is very worth watching. Location: The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many attractions and restaurants, and it is very convenient to travel. This saves us a lot of time and energy when visiting the city. Service: The hotel's service is very thoughtful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very smooth. The room service is also timely and meets our various needs. Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The gym and other public facilities are also well maintained and very convenient to use. Cons: Decoration in the room: Although the overall style is unique, the decoration in the room can sometimes make people feel a little scary. The design of some artworks and antiques is exaggerated, which may not suit every guest's taste, especially when alone at night, it may feel uncomfortable. Overall, the Medici Life Hotel is a very special accommodation choice. Its unique museum style and artistic environment are very suitable for travelers who like art and culture. Although the decoration in the room may be a bit scary, it does not affect the overall accommodation experience. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can provide a unique place to stay.

The staff are courteous and friendly and the breakfast is very tasty. It is convenient to arrive and depart from the central Station and also close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. I really liked the design and the ambience in the hotel because they don't have loud music (it was very pleasant).

The hotel was okay overall. I checked in quite late at night, and there was no staff present for manual check-in, so I had to use the self-service machine. It was very slow, and the machine even had issues. The room was tidy and clean, but there was no bottled water, toothbrush, or toothpaste. The front desk was unstaffed, so the service was a bit lacking.

The service was tip top from the check-in till the end. The service of Lucas and Hedric was attentive, meticulous and very helpful to my needs. I was exhausted and jet lag due to the trade show business plus it was my first time staying in the city centre. So rhe clean room and warm sincere treatment from the staff brightened me up. I appreciate the lovely loft room view of the city and also the great roof top bar. Thank u.

Very close to the train station, and the main reason is that the owners are all wonderful Chinese sisters, hahahaha. It's super convenient to ask for directions or any questions!

Great! The location is convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were warm and helpful, and check-in was quick. The location is super convenient for getting around. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The room was predictably small. When I first arrived, the white door wasn't opening, and I wasn't sure how to get in! 😂 Turns out, the door right next to it just pushed open. The breakfast was nothing special either, just cereal, milk, bread, and various cheeses. The location is quite convenient for the train station, making transfers easy. I think for Chinese travelers, this would generally be considered a very ordinary hotel. In China, hotels nowadays usually have pretty good decor and a modern feel, whereas European hotels are generally smaller and older.
