"The hotel service was excellent. The concierge offered complimentary luggage storage, and our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and amenities provided. The room itself was fully equipped with everything we needed. This year, the UK has experienced unusually hot weather, so having air conditioning indoors was a huge plus. The transportation is very convenient, as it's only about 300 meters from Shepherd's Bush, and the Westfield shopping center nearby makes shopping super easy. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."
"Came for a little break with my daughter to London,. It Was a lovely hotel cosy little room with Nice bathroom shower Good value. Twin Beds was comfortable. Would stay again !!."
"Great value for money! For around 1000 RMB in London, getting a room like this is excellent. The Central Line is right outside the hotel, offering direct access to the city center, which is super convenient for sightseeing. There's also a supermarket nearby, making things even easier."
"The room was next to the road, and traffic noise started as early as 5 AM. Make sure to request a room not facing the road when checking in. The windows were sealed shut and couldn't be opened, which made the room feel particularly stuffy and prevented air circulation. The bedsheets were yellowed and had small black spots. The phone cable wasn't plugged in properly, so the phone was out of order. The hotel staff were generally helpful; requests for toothbrushes and slippers were promptly fulfilled. However, the hotel bathroom didn't provide body lotion, which is quite unusual for a Western hotel. The hotel is located in a safe residential area in West London, but..."
"I recently stayed at your hotel for three nights. Although the hotel itself was generally fine, the check-in process and communication from the reception team were extremely disappointing.
I arrived at approximately 2:50 pm and was told that my room was not ready, despite the hotel’s website stating that check-in begins at 3:00 pm. A member of staff told me that housekeeping would prepare the room and that it should be available within ten minutes. However, I was left waiting at reception with my children for around 40 minutes.
Later that evening, when I returned to the room to take a shower, I found that the shower drain was blocked. I repeatedly tried to contact reception using the telephone in the room, but no one answered, even after several attempts over approximately ten minutes. To make matters worse, I was charged £1.95 at check-out for trying to contact the hotel’s internal service after being unable to reach reception.
I therefore had to go downstairs from the ninth floor to speak to a receptionist in person. A member of staff promised that the shower would be repaired the following day. I asked him to make a note of the issue because I would be busy the next day. However, he assured me that he would remember everything and that there was no need for me to remind the reception team.
Overall, the poor communication, long wait at check-in and unresolved maintenance issue made my stay unnecessarily difficult. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again."
"The facade is absolutely stunning, and the location is superb, right on a corner facing the square, directly opposite a church, and with a supermarket behind it. The dining street is just a minute's walk away. The metro is about a fifteen-minute walk. There's a bar right on the ground floor. It's quiet, and the front desk staff are incredibly nice. The only minor drawback is the elevator; it's quite old-fashioned – so old-fashioned that once it reaches your floor, you have to manually press the button again for the doors to open. It's actually quite charming in its own way!"
"This is the best hotel I've stayed at in London, and I've visited many times! This hotel just opened in 2026, and I boldly booked it because I'd previously stayed at another hotel from the same brand in Hangzhou. The hotel environment is exceptionally good – it's only about a 5-minute walk to a subway station, and there's a huge shopping mall and supermarket nearby! All sorts of restaurants are also available!
The room was super clean and comfortable! I highly recommend it! Even if you want to visit major attractions, it's only a few subway stops away!
All the front desk staff were young, vibrant, and very friendly! Since my flight was at 6 or 7 PM, I asked if I could have a late check-out. The hotel staff kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM, and my children and I had a wonderful stay here!
I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in London!"
"What a great little hotel, perfect location for central and west London. Staff were excellent very attentive and friendly room was perfect, we stayed on the top floor, some reviews had moaned about noise and size of shower, the room on this level has none of those issues. We will be back for sure"
"Great service, we got a free upgrade which was much appreciated! Perfect, very comfortable one-night stay. Close to the underground and the Westfield mall."
"Stunning hotel , great location. Immaculately clean,
My one negative was the waiting time to check in which had a queue of over 30 people waiting and only 3 staff checking in. Maybe check in times should be staggered if this is the case every weekend, however this may be a one off and the staff themselves were very polite and check in was very smooth once completed
Apartment style room , very spacious , kitchen facilities and nice bathroom, huge bed
Very efficient air con
Staff were very professional and attentive, very welcoming
Great little bar with deals on drinks
Will return and definitely recommend 😊"

Great
BBertBenThis hotel is pretty good for the price. The room size was just right, and the staff were very friendly. We arrived around 11 AM, and they allowed us to check in early, which was great. The breakfast had a lot of choices and is worth trying.
The only two downsides are: if you walk from Whitechapel, that area feels a bit messy and smells quite strong. Also, the kitchen is really small, but it seems like most Aparthotels in Europe are like that.
EEhime OmokhodionI recently stayed at Novotel London Canary Wharf and it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in London. From the moment I checked in, the atmosphere felt modern, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable.
The highlight of the stay was definitely the view from my room. Waking up to the Canary Wharf skyline and watching the city lights come alive at night was incredible. The floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire room feel bright and spacious, and the panoramic cityscape gave the stay a real luxury feel.
Another standout experience was visiting Bōkan, the hotel’s restaurant and rooftop bar. The views from up there are absolutely breathtaking , you get a stunning panoramic perspective of the whole of London, from Canary Wharf to landmarks across the city skyline. Whether during sunset or later in the evening, the atmosphere is unforgettable. The combination of great food, drinks, and those sweeping views made it one of the best parts of the trip.
The hotel amenities were also excellent. The pool was clean and relaxing, perfect after a long day exploring or working in the city. The gym was well-equipped with everything needed for a proper workout, and the sauna added an extra touch of relaxation that really elevated the overall experience.
Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf delivers the perfect mix of comfort, modern luxury, amazing facilities, and spectacular London views. I’d happily stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Canary Wharf.
KKL@@Great place to stay very local to tube. All the staff were very polite, friendly, attentive and kind as well as maintaining professionalism. Breakfast had a good selection, however I like the light option but one can clearly enjoy whatever they wish. I slept very well. The rooms were spacious with Aircon and as a bonus I couldn’t hear anyone from other rooms. I would definitely recommend ROCKWELL to others and I would stay here again. Thank you for my stay!
WWangwangjinshuiFantastic location! Plus, the room was a spacious suite. Even though the lighting wasn't the best, it did have two small windows. The welcome fruit was a nice touch, and there was even a bottle of red wine – definitely felt like a special occasion. And the breakfast was delicious too. Worth it!
GGuest UserThis was the first hotel for our family's UK trip. After much deliberation, we chose this Holiday Inn Express which is quite close to the city center. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, buses, and trains. The hotel maintained the consistent quality of the Holiday Inn brand. We were also lucky enough to snag a group deal that included parking and some meals. A special thank you goes to Christina, a kind and patient lady who speaks Chinese. Due to the high demand for rooms on the weekend and our first-time use of a Ctrip hotel group coupon, the check-in process was a bit convoluted, but the final outcome was very satisfying. Our family left London happily to begin the next leg of our journey. BTW, we encountered many odd Indian guests; whether it was in the cramped elevator or at the popular breakfast buffet, they all exuded a strange confidence, as if they owned the place. I wonder who gave them that idea 🤔🤔🤔
GGuest UserI expected the room to be small, but it was incredibly cramped, barely allowing two adults to move around. It almost felt claustrophobic. If you're tall or have a larger build, you should seriously consider this. On the upside, it's a great location for sightseeing; you can easily take a double-decker bus to the British Museum, National Gallery, Wallace Collection, and the V&A Museum. It's also close to Euston and St Pancras stations. Taking the Underground from London Heathrow Terminal 4 to Russell Square station takes about an hour. Because the room was so tiny, I was motivated to explore more places and truly enjoy London. I even took a mat to several nearby parks to sunbathe and relax.
My room didn't have a table, fridge, or phone, but it was a good opportunity to experience minimalist living.
Breakfast was the same menu for all 10 days, much like how a full English breakfast doesn't change. However, just like the consistent menu, the breakfast team — Lourenco, Kiddik, and CkeyRL — were always friendly and diligent, clearly striving to do their best every day. Thank you! Thanks to them, I forgot any inconveniences and started each morning in a good mood.
BBoYanboThis is a 'decent' hotel. Yes, that's the word. The facilities aren't brand new, but the mattress in the room is still comfortable, the towels are still soft, the toilet paper is still thick, and the hygiene standards are consistently good. The breakfast is a classic English breakfast, meeting the expected standards for a four-star hotel. The location is excellent, situated in a wealthy area of London with very convenient transportation; the subway station is right next door. And the price, especially during the off-season, offers fantastic value for money. Backed by the Millennium Hotels Group and Singaporean capital, it's surprisingly good – the hotel's own restaurant serves authentic wonton noodles and Hainanese chicken rice! Plus, guests get discount coupons! If I had to summarize in one sentence, I'd say this is a well-managed, old-fashioned but not outdated hotel.
AAnonymous UserPros:
1. Great location with convenient transportation, close to all major attractions.
2. Well-developed surrounding commercial facilities, making it easy to purchase daily necessities.
3. Rooms are cleaned daily and include a safe.
Cons:
1. The building is old and the space is cramped.
2. No air conditioning and poor ventilation. Not recommended during hot summer periods.
3. Street-facing rooms are noisy, with frequent sounds of cars and motorcycles revving their engines.
AAnil ShewakramA memorable hotel stay seamlessly blends comfort, exceptional service, and local charm. The experience begins with a warm, efficient welcome that immediately washes away travel fatigue. Inside the room, pristine cleanliness and thoughtful design create a personal sanctuary, featuring a plush bed and modern amenities. Delightful surprises, like a stunning window view or complimentary local treats, elevate the atmosphere. Exceptional hospitality shines through attentive staff who anticipate needs without intruding. Dining experiences, from a vibrant breakfast buffet to artisan coffee, celebrate regional flavours. Ultimately, a perfect stay transforms a simple lodging choice into a relaxing, unforgettable highlight of the journey.
GGuest UserEven though it's far from central London, it's about a 15-minute walk to the tube station, and there's a bus stop right outside with frequent services. The hotel is basic, but for the price, it's excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is an extra £5.99, and it's absolutely worth it compared to prices in the area. The room was small but functional, with a new bathroom. The only minor issue was that when we arrived at Britannia Inn, they directed us to another hotel (Park Hotel) from the same group, about 500m away.
