AAnonymous UserThe check in process was very easy, just took us some time to find the place because we thought it is separated from the pub but the reception is actually right in it so just walk straight in! Room was very cozy and equipped, very thoughtful to provide us with all the basic amenities plus additional items such as water, beer, milk, chocolate, coffee for coffee machine and even a postcard! Staff was really friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was also really amazing - you get to choose a main and a drink from their breakfast menu on top of a mini buffet spread that offered some really good pastries, salamis, cheese and more, so be sure to leave some extra time in the morning to enjoy it! However, there was a club opposite the place that was opened slightly pass midnight when we were there and if you're a light sleeper be sure to pack some ear plugs to go to sleep early. One of the corners of the wall also had a slight mold issue because the condensation from the bathroom must have caused that in the long run but it shouldn't be a huge concern though it will be nice if that gets fixed!

CCacoineSue at the front desk was absolutely wonderful and incredibly helpful, a huge thank you to her! However, there was a blonde, curly-haired Caucasian man working in the evening who seemed very unhappy and quite unpleasant to deal with, which was very stressful! The hotel room was quite small, but the price was reasonable and the breakfast was delicious, so it's still worth recommending!

Good for those travelling with cabin size lugguage, somewhat manageable for international travellers with only 1 mid - large size travel lugguage - Lack of cupboard to place stuff - not much table space, hotel stuff has to be moved to toilet if table is required for work

MMisisGIt was a great experience for us as a family, I have to booked 2 rooms to accommodate the family of four, everything was absolutely fantastic. Kids enjoyed the food. It was 9/10 stars for all, except that it took us so long to wait for the room that was interconnected with the other room. I was told at first that it was interconnected but then when we went in there it wasn’t. huge thanks to Ms. Nadia from the front desk who was there to help us and got everything sorted for 10 minutes. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly 😊 we will definitely be back again.

GGuest UserHonestly, I have been to many hotels around Birmingham and London, and I also work at multiple hotels as security. I have seen how they are from inside and outside, but trust me, this five-star hotel truly won my heart. The moment I entered, it gave me an old-fashioned feeling. The furniture was amazing, and the view was breathtaking. The ability to play YouTube and watch movies added an extra layer of comfort to my stay. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient. Opposite the hotel, there are many food shops, and we went around 7:30 PM for food, which I thoroughly enjoyed. McDonald’s is just two minutes away, and a beautiful beach side is within a five-minute reach. The combination of luxurious accommodation and strategic location makes this hotel an absolute gem. Overall, my experience was extraordinary. The five-star hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I’m definitely booking this hotel again in the future. If anyone is interested in a truly remarkable hotel experience that combines classic charm, modern amenities, and a perfect location, I highly recommend visiting and seeing this exceptional hotel for yourself. It’s not just a place to stay – it’s an experience that will create lasting memories

GGuest UserI will never stay there again , never stay any where with no reception. I turned up and there was nobody there to open the door. I knocked and after a while another guest let me in. I called the manager who took ages to answer the phone and did not believe me, she eventually accepted and refused to let me have a door pass I thought I will sleep in the kitchen, but after a while she sent me an email asking me to send in a passport photo as ID and finally I got the door pass. I will stay in a hotel next time this guest house is a waste of time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great, quiet location and it is a very beautiful building. The room was clean and pleasant, but it wasn't quite what I expected. Through Trip I thought I had booked one room up from the smallest option, but alas turns out I had not! The bed was also advertised as a standard double, it definitely is not in the smaller rooms, it is a small double, and this made sleeping for two a little uncomfortable. The room was also very hot even though we turned the radiator off and had the window open all night but I think this is just due to it being an older building, heat rises etc. The pool room really needs TLC. It is very overlooked and we felt really lets the hotel down. It's shame as it's a lovely space - even a quick lick of paint would bring it back to life if money doesn't allow for larger maintenance. Staff were all very friendly, especially the two we were served by in the restaurant for dinner. The food was okay but a little over priced but the service made up for that. All in all for a quick overnight stop it was fine.

GGuest UserEverything was great accept. I had paid for the room in advance. When the clerk asked for my card I thought he was checking my card matched the card on record. He proceed to chard me for the room again £78. Said there was outstanding balance. After taking the money I said excuse it had been paid. He then said s sorry I’ll issue a refund. But this has caused me issue I was only in Southampton 1 day and I only had 90£ to spend after he done this I only had 10 £ left he then tried to take more money for the second room. I had to borrow money and now I have e to wait 5-7 days to get the refund. The next day. My flight was delayed. And although taking my money. He the same many wouldn’t let me have a late check out end. Though there we rooms

CCHIA HSINAccording to Google map, it is easy to find, I arrived early and still let me stay, thank you very much! If you can provide a voucher for accommodation (the network is also available), you will make the stay more smooth! My room has a sink, the toilet and the bathroom are shared, the kitchen is large, but shopping nearby does not seem to be very convenient, about20-25 minutes walk from the Southampton Central train station, because I like to walk, so I also go to the theater!
