"The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of the LIC metro station and the large shopping mall EA Avenue. The staff provided excellent service, explaining everything clearly and thoroughly. A great bonus for environmentally conscious guests is the reusable glass water bottles provided in the rooms – a commendable effort to reduce plastic waste in the hospitality industry. The hotel's buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and good quality food, ensuring even non-local guests (whose bodies might not be accustomed to Indian cuisine for every meal) can enjoy their dining experience with various cuisines available. Additionally, the hotel's rooftop restaurant boasts a fantastic ambiance and serves a selection of Asian dishes. While some might not be entirely authentic (for instance, the Tom Yum Goong shown in the picture wasn't a perfect balance of sour, spicy, and salty, with the salty flavor being more prominent), I believe these are adjustments made to cater to local preferences, such as increasing the salt content in dishes to compensate for the hot weather and increased perspiration."

"Where do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.  The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!  Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.  Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. "The room was large, hot water was also available and the air-conditioning was good, so it was comfortable. There is dust, the sheets are dirty and not clean, but this price is acceptable. I was worried that the bath towels were wet. You need to be careful because you can have a big puddle in front of the hotel when it rains."
