Hotels near Spa LaQua, Tokyo

Firstly, one star for its hotel location. Located strategically right beside the dome (good for concert goers) and nearby 2 different metro stations to go anywhere. Secondly, another star for its hotel environment. Clean and huge. Hotel room and its toilet considered spacious if you compare to most other hotels. They do housekeeping daily. Bed is comfortable but their pillows are terrible, we did not sleep really well for 3d2n (even after we requested for extra pillows) until we bought our cushion from disney to use. Lastly, we had a terrible experience with their hotel staff. A local 5 stars hotel with no one that can hold a basic conversation in English. On check-in, reception was unfriendly. None of the staff greeted us and no one briefed us on hotel facilities. Most of them just rely on translator to interact and not all the time translator is accurate. We were given misleading information from Day 1 until we checked out. As we were worried, we went to the concierge for 2 nights just to confirm our concerns but unfortunately, due to their lack of basic English, we were unable to get accurate information. This resulted us wasting 3-4hours at the hotel on our last day just to get our issue resolved. They even requested us to bear the charges for the decision the hotel made by themselves. But they waived it off when we made firm stance that we are not going to pay for it. TBH, i will not visit this hotel again despite its spacious and convenient location. I would rather pay more for international hotels or stay at a smaller hotel with better services.

Stayed for 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay very very much. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time! The room was very clean and cozy and even though it was small (on par with japanese standards) it has everything I needed. There was even a humidifier in the room!! Great for the winter months! Location was amazing! It was just a short 10mins walk from the Keisei Ueno Stn to catch the skyliner direct from Narita. And 5 mins walk away are a few other subway lines (at least 5 more other lines scattered nearby) that can connect you to other major areas of Tokyo easily. Even though hotel is located in a quieter street of Ueno, Food and Shopping are just a stone throw away (just across 1 main street). It is a very convenient area to stay! The service staff was also very welcoming and kind! Thank you for making my stay wonderful! ^^

Located conveniently across from Tokyo Dome City (LaQua mall) and right above a Don Quixote, which is open 24hrs, the convenience is amazing at the price point. It is also near a few train and subway lines within walking distance which makes it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and simple with ample space. Amenities are free to pick up from the 4th floor lobby so it’s not that troublesome. Did not get breakfast from the hotel which I understand to be at the Saizeriya on the 3rd floor of the building.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Booked a single smoking room in a deal, I don't smoke and the room didn't smell of cigs so that was good. While small, the room has everything you need, and the views are great! Breakfast was great, a lot to choose from, western and local. Staff were lovely, check in was easy. FamilyMart right opposite and Nagatacho metro a few minutes walk away, two stops from Yurakucho and four from Shibuya. Would recommend.

Location was very good. Near akihabar electric town. Walking distance to different metro stations. There was construction next door during stay but no disturbing sound was felt. Room is small but this is normal. Will stay again

The location is good, with a university nearby. It's about a three to five-minute walk from Jimbocho Station's A2 exit. The hotel entrance is on a corner, and there's a 7-Eleven right across the street, which is super convenient. Check-out is at 11 AM. I booked a king-size bed, which was very large, though the hallways, as is common in Japan, are quite narrow. A 28-inch suitcase can be opened if laid sideways. The lobby has a lounge area with water and coffee, as well as disposable towels. Upon check-in, you receive pajamas, free drip coffee, and toiletries. If you're staying multiple nights and need housekeeping, you must notify the front desk before 10 AM. Even if you're a minute late, they won't clean your room, at most they'll just empty the trash bin. The room was very clean, and overall, I'm very satisfied.

The location is easy to find, just a few minutes walk from Exit 7 of Kudanshita Station on the Tozai and Shinjuku lines. Three subway lines pass by the hotel, making it quick and convenient to get to any part of Tokyo. The rooms, like most Japanese hotels, are quite small; in a single room, you can't even fully open a suitcase. The area is quiet, with several 24-hour convenience stores, and the supermarket across the street offers good prices.

Despite being compact, it had everything I needed — a comfortable bed, clean linens, reliable Wi-Fi, and thoughtful amenities that made my stay stress-free. The daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and tidy, which I truly valued. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. The freshly baked bread and variety of simple yet satisfying options made for a great start to my mornings. I also appreciated the 24-hour access to certain conveniences like vending machines and laundry facilities, which made the stay even more practical. Location-wise, R&B Hotel is excellent. It’s conveniently close to transport links, shops, and dining options, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Overall, R&B Hotel offers incredible value for money. It’s perfect for both short business trips and leisure stays. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with genuinely kind hospitality. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Staffs are all very friendly and willing to answer if you have any questions during the stay. The space is small but to me cleanliness is good, service is great as well. Just that do note that the hotel doesn’t have adapter, just in case you forgot to bring you have to buy it outside yourself.
