"Close to the congress we attended. Tram line close to the hotel was a life saver. We went to the congress venue with 2 stops. 5 stops to bus station and last stop was Eminönü which is a central attraction. Breakfast not included and view of the back side rooms was not so tempting but overall clean and convenient stay for us. If I had another congress nearby, I would prefer the hotel again. "
"Let me break down my review:
**Pros:**
1. The staff were excellent. They were proactive in their communication, and every time I returned, they'd actively stand up and greet me with a ”HOW ARE YOU.”
2. The front desk staff were also very helpful when I asked for directions.
3. The room was clean, the carpet showed no signs of dirt, and after cleaning, they would spray a fragrance, so there were no unpleasant odors.
4. We arrived an hour early, and they allowed us to check in after waiting just 20 minutes.
**Cons:**
1. The toilet seat was broken. I was already very tired, and since we had checked in early, I didn't ask for a room change. However, it was really inconvenient because it moved around while I was using it.
2. The complimentary drinking water provided was just a small cup; other hotels usually offer bottled water.
3. The curtains were too narrow and couldn't close properly (you can see in the pictures). I even had to pull and stick them together myself, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to sleep well (as I'm sensitive to light).
4. There's a house renovation project going on downstairs, and there was a lot of noise even at 10:30 PM. Closing the window helped a lot, but it was still loud. So, if you don't like noisy city areas, be aware ⚠️.
5. The breakfast was the simplest I've had in Turkey. As you can see in the pictures, the egg pancake was an extra charge, so I didn't order it. But it might have been really cheap, which explains it.
Overall, while the price was affordable, when you're traveling, you truly realize how important comfort is once you've stayed somewhere. So, next time, I will choose a place with a better environment."
"The location is excellent, right in the heart of Eyüp Sultan Square. It is also a great base for tourists who want to explore many of Istanbul's historical attractions, with easy access to buses and taxis.
Before staying here, I was staying at a well-known international chain hotel. However, I chose this independent hotel for the first time because it has balconies, which I really wanted.
The rooms are a comfortable size, and everything was clean. It is a small, friendly hotel, but it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. I would happily stay here again."
"Staff on front desk were very friendly and welcoming. Amazing Turkish breakfast buffet; so many fresh and healthy choices! The view from the restaurant's terrace and the room's balcony were beautiful. Gym was the best we have ever experienced at any hotel around the world. Yes, there is a steep hill to walk to the nearest public transportation location, but it was easy to call an Uber to the lobby and the steep hill means a gorgeous river view from the property! Great value stay, we would gladly return!"
"The stay was okay overall. The hotel has a convenient location near Taksim, and everything was generally normal for a short stay. The staff were fine and the room was acceptable.
However, the air conditioning was not working properly, and the fridge was also not working. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room/bathroom. The toilet and bathroom were quite small and narrow.
Overall, it was an average stay. The location is good, but the hotel could improve the room facilities, especially the air conditioning, fridge, cleanliness and bathroom."
"Хороший персонал на ресепшен. Все возникающие вопросы помогают решать. Начиная от утюга и до трансфера за адекватные деньги. Очень шумно, с открытыми окнами спать не возможно, беруши спасли ситуацию. Завтрак очень скудный, ребёнку покушать нечего. Но просили молоко, нам отдельно давали стакан молока, хотя его на завтраке нет."
"I am writing to provide feedback regarding my check-in experience on the night. Unfortunately, the initial interaction with the nightshift receptionist was highly unsatisfactory and dumb.
Upon arrival, the porter appeared unwell and was notably discourteous. He was unable to efficiently process my check-in, which caused a significant delay - I arrived early and there were rooms available but instead of earning a guest you letting people move a way. After a long journey, this was a disappointing welcome.
Thankfully, the receptionist, Mert, provided excellent service. He was professional, polite, and clearly explained the hotel's procedures. His assistance turned a negative situation into a positive one. This feedback is to have a word with your night receptionist please. Also, I booked a room with partial sea view but given a room that views the city but the view is nice and room is nice."
"“My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and always attentive to guests’ needs. The service was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made me feel relaxed and welcomed. I truly enjoyed my experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!”"
"The hotel staff were all very kind, and the entire hotel was spotless. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, but there were individually portioned jams, butter, cheeses, and a wide variety of other spreads for bread, which filled us up every morning.
The ferry terminal was nearby, and we took the ferry to the city center. The view of Istanbul from the ferry was absolutely amazing. Also, right in front of the hotel was a large park with playground equipment for small children, allowing us to enjoy quality time with our kids beyond just sightseeing."

Great
XXiaowen31Pros:
1. The breakfast offers a mix of traditional Turkish breakfast and Western options, with a great variety of cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. Although the room is small, it's very tidy and clean. It gets cleaned daily, and the bed sheets are changed every day.
3. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Yedikule Fortress and Marble Tower, and only an 8-minute walk to the sea.
4. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with schools, making it very quiet.
5. The hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast and never lags.
Areas for improvement:
1. It would be great if there was an airport shuttle service.
AAndreeva NataliaWonderful location. It's tough with luggage going up and down the stairs, so a transfer is definitely needed. The view from the restaurant terrace is stunning, especially in the evening. We booked this hotel specifically for that view. The pool is small, and a swim cap is mandatory; you'll have to buy one if you don't have one. I wasn't a fan of the massage; it was given by a man, and the price was steep. The sauna and hammam were a nice bonus. The pillows and bed were very comfortable – perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserWe stayed for one night, but even for such a short stay, it was fantastic. The receptionist was amazing; despite our early arrival at 8 AM, they did everything possible to expedite our check-in, and by 9:30 AM, our rooms were ready. I'm very particular about cleanliness and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were quite clean, cozy, and, importantly, spacious, with clean bathrooms. Everything we needed was in the room. I must also mention the wonderful breakfast 🍳; we were with four teenage children, and everyone found something delicious to eat. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing and neat! I confidently give it a 5 out of 5. The location is great, close to the port, Galata Tower… Thank you for a wonderful day!
BBenpaoshengcaiThis hotel, with its century-old history, offers rooms that aren't huge, but they are immaculately clean and well-maintained. The service experience is top-notch; the staff are incredibly friendly and you can easily communicate with them using a translation app. It definitely meets a five-star standard, even exuding a touch of old-money charm, so you can check in with confidence. Its biggest advantage is the location – it's very close to the Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern, both easily reachable on foot. The surrounding commercial area is well-developed, and there's even a Lanzhou Lamian restaurant a few hundred meters away, which is a great option for varying your meals during your trip.
TterentiusMixed feelings for this accommodation. While it is located fairly conveniently near Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and the metro station, this place, like many guesthouses around, is located in an area with narrow streets making car pick ups and drop offs (eg, to and from airport) a little inconvenient. Walking to the hotel also involves a hilly stretch- to be borne in mind if you have elderly in your travel party.
Staff at front desk were professional, responded to requests quickly. There was ni room service provided in the 4 nights we stayed, though place is generally clean. Some amenities were broken - large cracks in toilet bowl, hairdryer would always go off halfway. And the worst part about room 102 which we booked was that it was adjacent to the reception desk and staff toilet, meaning every interaction and use of toilet could be heard loud and clear in the room - the be considered if you are a light sleeper or don't like noise.
No breakfast offered but a lot of eateries in the area offering breakfast.
GGuest UserThis hotel was truly in a fantastic location. My wife and I had a quick holiday getaway, and the staff's attitude was wonderful. It's within walking distance to the ferry terminal and the high-speed train station. I would genuinely recommend it to everyone I know, and it's definitely my top choice for all my future Istanbul trips.
GGuest UserLocated about 20 kilometers from the airport, the room had windows on three sides with unobstructed sea views. The service was excellent; they even called in Chinese in the morning to remind us to have breakfast. The Turkish people are very hospitable.
