I had high hopes due to how much it cost. While the apartment itself was comfortable there were a number of issues in the service that contributed to an overall negative experience. Firstly, on arrival the key for my assigned apartment wasn’t in the key safe. So I had to cross over to the hostel to enquire, and was assigned a different apartment, told that sometimes people leave and take the key with them. Though just minutes later I saw someone cleaning my original apartment, so it was clear it just hadn’t been ready on time. Secondly, there were a number of lights not working in the kitchen and bathroom. It wasn’t a huge problem for me - unlike for my friends in another apartment, where none of the bathroom lights were working, so the management’s solution was to place a floor lamp in the bathroom, with the electric flex snaking across the floor! I was gobsmacked! And thirdly there were so many passive aggressive notices around the apartment, stating rules and threatening surcharges for various misdeeds, I felt like I was being admonished from the moment I arrived. Unfortunately there aren’t many accommodation options in the vicinity so they can probably get away with such poor service, but please take my advice and find somewhere else if you can.
