We really enjoyed our stat at Hotel de Charme Laveno. The room was large and comfortable overlooking the Lake. The pool and spa were wonderful. We had breakfast and dinner each day at the hotel restaurant and the food was fantastic. The hotel arranged for us to hire a private boat that took us to the islands as well as a tour of all around the lake shores. We originally had planned on staying in Stressa, but we were very glad we stayed here instead. Fewer tourists and less busy in general.

We have stayed in many hotels around the world but this was the place for us, Laveno is quiet and not packed with tourists but you can easily get the ferry to hop around the lake and all its towns and islands. The hotel was welcoming, small enough to be personal and large enough to feel like you have space, the views are magnificent (especially from the pool). I went to the pool before breakfast every day and did not have a problem with going early. The breakfast had all the choice you could wish for, the afternoon tea and cake was fabulous after a busy day island hopping and the dinner and wine were another level of taste and choice. The service was impeccable and although we have stayed in many 5 star hotels, this was by far the most perfect for us. We travelled from Milan on train and it was very simple, we visited the local cable car which was amazing and simple to find. We had the lake view room last time and it was clean, modern, spacious, airy, with a fabulous view of the lake and delicious smell from the diffuser and toiletries. We rarely go back to the same location or hotel but have booked to go back in May 2024 for my husbands birthday, this time we have treated ourselves to a junior suite. Thank you to the staff, chefs and cleaners for making the 3 nights so perfect.

We enjoyed a wonderful 7 night stay at Hotel de Charme Laveno-Mombello. The hotel is stylish, modern, scrupulously clean, well appointed and enjoys a great location on the lake. Particular highlights for us were the food and the staff - who were just delightful. To find a hotel staffed by people from across the age spectrum who clearly enjoy what they do and who genuinely want to go the extra mile, so ensuring that guests are comfortable, is all too rare these days.

We so enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Charme Laveno! The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel is well-decorated - tasteful and comfortable, the rooms are very pretty and the views are lovely. Our dinner, which was included in our rate, was delicious. The hotel’s buffet of appetizers was extraordinary and a real treat. Our first and second courses were tasty and nicely presented. Breakfast was also very nice. We would be delighted to return to this gem of a hotel!

Excellent hotel and service in all aspects. EV-charging and covered parking spaces for our vehicle. As this is the conversion of an old factory, some rooms have a pillar in the middle of the room, reducing the useful space for the sitting area. Unfortuantely, the hotel airco broke down for about 2 days of our stay. Location is perfect for visiting the Lago Maggiore highlights with the public boat transport and even ferry. We didn't use our car during our stay.

Positives - beautiful rooms with fantastic wood panelling, excellent food, charming service. A trip to the astonishing Isola Bella is strongly recommended. Negatives - a complex lighting system with dummy switches not doing anything and lack of USB or USB-C ports. Excellent hotel reception provided converters and extra lighting but modern architects really do not seem to take lighting seriously.

Really enjoyed a restful week at this hotel- staff were friendly, food excellent and hotel is well situated in the town for the ferry and train as well as having its own spacious garage. There is also a pool with a view and we would be delighted to go back.

We stayed at the hotel in room 207 which was delightful and has beautiful views. The whole experience has been positive, food is of high quality, staff are very helpful and professional, the location is perfect for visiting other places on the lake. The pool area on the roof is a joy with stunning views. We are so happy that we picked this hotel.

Only pros for this place: - very polite and helpful staff - excellent location, easy to access from Milan Malpensa, easy to go with ferry to Intra (with or without car). We went around the lake with a car and it was easy because of the location of the hotel - amazing views from pool area and also from the suite that we stayed in - excellent food at the evening dining that was included in our stay. Also quality breakfast - we stayed here as a couple and I think this is especially an awesome place for couples to stay In my liking: If you want to have fuzz, lots of other tourists and tourist services around you, stay at Stresa If you want to have shops around you, stay at Intra If you want to have a easy to access location, place that is not crowded with other tourists, amazing views, great food and make daytrips around the lake, see tourist attractions and shops or just relax, stay at Hotel de Charme Laveno
