Stayed here overnight on the way back to Channel Tunnel at the end of a 16 night road trip. The last of 5 hotels we stayed in it met our expectations in most respects. Well located. Parking directly underneath the hotel (public car park) with a lift straight to reception.(Parking Europe). Thoughtfully planned room and bathroom (full length mirror, quiet air con, fridge, water). Very clean and quiet (despite our room overlooking the station). Polite and efficient reception and bar staff with reasonable bar prices and a nice little outside terrace to have drinks on. The only negative was the included breakfast. We arrived at the breakfast room at 8.30th to find every table covered unused plates/mugs etc with chairs and tables randomly scattered. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there had been any staff hurriedly dealing with the mess (which we thought had maybe been caused by a coach party eating and leaving together?) but it was a full 20 minutes before the staff even noticed (despite there being 2 members of staff on duty). Items were slow to be replenished and all the honey and jam dispensers were empty. When the tables were finally cleared, it was by means of a large catering trolley with attached bin bag being pushed round the dining room, which we found quite intrusive. The actual breakfast offering was lovely - fresh orange juice, delicious yogurt and a great selection of pastries/ cereal etc, it’s just a pity about the ambiance, and lack of customer care shown by the breakfast attendants - perhaps they were just having a bad day? Despite the above we would happily return to this hotel if we visit Arras again.

belle chambre , mais avons eu froid, presque pas de chauffage nous l'avons signalé, après ,la 1ere nuit on nous a proposé de changer de chambre mais comme nous étions là que pour 2 nuits on voulait pas tout déménager .. juste 2 doses de café que nous avons utilisé l’après midi donc plus pour le matin, la personne qui se trouvait à l' accueil la nuit en a cherché de partout pas trouvé donné 2 décaféiné qu' elle est allée chercher ds une autre chambre donc pour un novotel c'est un peu léger.......la cerise sur le gâteau c'est que le matin de notre départ en réglant la note du resto et bar car avons pris 2 repas sur places qui d' ailleurs étaient très corrects ... une personne est arrivée de l’extérieure qui à mon avis n” était pas un client mais plutot genre fournisseur ou quelqu'un du coin en tout cas , s'est moqué du club de foot qui était venus la veille dans cet hôtel et vraiment pas très gentiment ainsi que la personne avec qui il parlait qui me semble être la directive, et manque de chance nous étions venus pour justement cet événement !!! c'est vraiment un manque de correction de parler comme ça alors que l' hôtel à été bien content de les recevoir !! et surtout de le faire devant d'autres clients .......même si ils ne pouvaient imaginer d’où nous venions mais inadmissible de se moquer des clients en disant que la prochaine fois ils finiraient au Formule 1 ....... devant d'autres clients . pas très commercial tout ça !!!!!

We stayed in this hotel for a night when we traveled to the Gayant party region. We were asked for the difference between the rooms, the coffee machine in the room and the presence of a super-matelas. We chose the comfort room, but it was found that the comfort option was not much useful: the mattress was TRES firm, and the coffee machine was actually only a electric boiler with soluble coffee bags, The room was clean and quiet. We didn't take breakfast at the hotel. As in the title, we were not fully convinced by the hotel services and especially the comfort room. Maybe it will be better next time ...

Stayed for one night on our way further south having wanted to avoid an overnight in Calais due to security concerns. It appears to be relatively new and this is reflected in the standard of the family room we booked. Though the room was fairly basic, everything was very modern and clean. The bathroom area was separate to the toilet and, rather strangely, privacy was maintained by a curtain rather than a door. However it worked without problems. There is a small bar but this seemed to close early and there was no sign of the vending machines you often get in French budget hotels. Breakfast was basic though reasonably priced and sufficient for our needs. Whilst there is no facility for evening dining, discounts were available at a number of local restaurants just ten minutes walk or five minutes by car. Would have no hesitation in using again.

This is a real nice brand new hotel. Very good quality, modest pricing. Easy to reach, near the train station with good parking facilities both public and hotel owned. For this type of budget hotels IBIS provides an efficient but spaceous room design with nice and cakm colours and very, very good beds, bathroom, big TV. Well done IBIS! And thanks to the efficient staff.

Excellent stay in this SPA hotel, pleasant staff and varied and extensive breakfast. There is one hour of SPA included per day, but attention must be reserved to the slot (which eventually avoids blinding the SPA and allows relaxation).
