Atour Hotel LiJiang Gucheng Dashuiche Reviews

Just right outside the North gate of LiJiang ancient city, high price to value ratio…. Can take cab to the front door of hotel and don’t need to carry luggage inside the bumpy road of the ancient city. Room is spacious amidst it is next door to the popular tourist spot.

Location is within walking distance to Lijiang old town. Within five min walk to a mall with good eats.

Location is right in front of Lijiang Old Town Main Entrance. Front desk service was not good. We tried to ask few things but they kept on attending other guest & was busy doing something else. Not even bother to offer any help...

This hotel was fantastic for our holiday. Clean, spacious room (they even upgraded us!), friendly staff, and super convenient. Just a short walk to Lijiang Ancient City and right by the dachuiche. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby too! Would definitely recommend.

I booked 2 rooms for my family of 4. The bedrooms are ok except that there is no bath robes and not enough mirror in the bedroom.

Breakfasts was normal . Cleanliness exceptional. outstanding service by Mr Zhang at the counter . Supper was a bonus.

So far this is the Atour I liked the least. The room was alright but the toilet had a cigarette smell. The breakfast was my least favorite out of all the hotels I’ve been to in China. As for the good stuff, the hotel is across the street from the Ancient City west entrance (big water wheel), the 101 bus stop to/from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is across the street as well. The Dragon Pool is very close by too. Location wise, it’s probably the best you can get.

The location was great just in front of Lijiang Gucheng, many shop and restaurant nearby, easy to get around, the room is ok with good view of jade dragon snow mountain, but the cleanliness need to be improved, there is a visible stained probably sodas on the bedside table and on the floor as well just make you wonder what else not clean properly. The staff and their service is good and informative.

Location was great, front desk staff was very polite and nice when we came. Clenliness was a big issue. First we found a clump of black hair in the bed. My wife and I do not have black hair. We didn't complain. The following day we were out from early morning until around 4pm, when we came back the room was not cleaned and we did not have clean towles. Once we complained the towels were brought but the room was not cleaned as we needed rest. The following day the same thing happened, the room was bit cleaned and the cleaning lady came around 3pm to swap the towels. On both days we left the sign to make up the room on the door. The cleaning staff was polite and kept apologizing so I was under the impression they were understaffed. In any case not having at least clean towels would not be acceptable in any hotel. The dining area where we had breakfast was too small for the capacity of the hotel and people had to stand around and wait for the table. On one occasion the food delivery took one hour after it reached the hotel. We were told the robot got stuck on one of the floors. All in all, not worth the money we spent as it lacked basic hospitality traits.

Good, hospitality, clean . Very convenient near the ancient city and downtown can get everything ( food, shopping) very easy.

Room was spacious and clean, complimentary breakfast was good. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Convenient access to the ancient city from the hotel.

Very pleasant stay, easy checkin and helpful, friendly staff offering me and upgrade on arrival. Breakfast was fine, although heavily Chinese style. Rooms very clean, and housekeeping did a great job each day. This was my first stay at an ATour chain hotel and I would happily do so again. Great location for Old Town and Heilongtan Park.

Good hotel and very close to an entrance into the old town of Lijiang. The reception desk assisted us to find a driver to the attractions in and around the area
