Had a pleasant stay at this hotel. For the rate that we paid which included the railway pick up and breakfast, we have no complaint at all. On top of that, as we arrived earlier than the usual check in time, the hotel was gracious enough to allow us for early check in. It was a short drive from the railway station to the hotel. The communications were done via wechat and it was all smooth as we can communicate using the wechat translator. Our room were located on the third floor. It was steep stairs but we managed. The room was spacious enough for both of us. It has all the basic necessities and clean. There was also heated bed which was good as it was cold in Shangrila. The hotel also have luggage storage after check out which was good as we could continue exploring the city until it was time to take our train in the late afternoon. As for the breakfast, it was served at a diner across the street. There were mutliple set breakfast choices. Simple breakfast but technically it was enough for us as we dont have much option anyway as a muslim with specific food requirement. Croissant, eggs and fruits were good enough with tea and coffee. The location of the hotel is really near to the Dukezong Ancient Town. Less than 5 minutes walk. It was rather convenient as we went back to the ancient town at the night time and has no trouble to find our way back to the hotel by foot. Also it is easy to get public transport at the area. The hotel really looks photogenic ni the pictures especially at night time when all the lights were on.

The hotel is near the Shangrila Own Town. It’s quite old but clean. It provides electric heated pad. So warm.

hotel staff is helpful, friendly and good service (include airport pick up), but carpet floor still need to clean more. the breakfast is provided the Pizza House, with English communication of the friendly lady.

Patches of various colors on the ground... The bathroom floor is so dirty that you can't stand... Tourists who come to Shangri-La should stay there. Days later, the hotel didn't even clean and replace toiletries every day... After calling for a request, the hotel came up to take out the trash and temporarily brought towels from the next door room... It's hard to imagine whether the sanitary products are changed after each guest.

The air conditioner in the room does not work well. It was very cold in Shangri-La those days. Although there are electric blankets in the hotel, it is still very cold in the room. I caught a cold.

Yes, the price is reasonable, the ******* style is great, parking is available in front of the door, and Dukezong Ancient City is within walking distance.

Also, when I made the reservation, I read negative reviews about the bed, but you replied that it was because of the dryness of the plateau or something. We stayed that night and it was itchy all over! Don't tell me that the plateau is dry. We came all the way. Litang, Seda, and Garze are all better than your Shangri-La Plateau, right? Is it drier than you? Why doesn't it itch? Why didn't we feel itchy when we stayed at another hotel for one night? Your hygiene is already worrying! There are bad reviews about you, but you still don't change, you are still the same, you use all kinds of excuses to cover up, and you still go your own way. I really don’t recommend everyone to live here. No matter whether the price is high or low, it’s not worth it. If you have an unscrupulous store owner, no matter how much you spend, you will suffer the consequences!
