My girlfriend and I have just returned from a week long stay (29/4- 6/5/2024) at Akasha Beach Hotel and Spa and there aren't enough words to sum up our stay. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. Salis the bellhop was friendly and helpful in explaining the way things worked and where to go and due to our late arrival there was sandwiches left in the fridge for us as well as a complimentary bottle of Tsikoudia which was delightful. Going all inclusive was 100% worth the money. The food in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner was exceptional, the selection of salads, fruit, breads, cold meats etc was second to none and we only had 2 meals outside of the hotel as it was so good! Our room (1107) was the "basic" urban chic but even that was incredible and we had a lovely view of the fountains below on the main walkway from the reception past the restaurant and bar to the pool area and it was kept immaculately everyday by the housekeeping staff who have out deepest thanks. Every day when we went in for a meal were greeted with friendly smiles and good morning/afternoon/evening and within 2 minutes of sitting down we were asked what we would like to drink, which were then brought swiftly and followed with "enjoy your meal." Most meal times we always had the same 2 waitresses, a blonde girl who we never actually caught the name of which is our fault and another called Maria who looked after us like family. The Maitre D who again, we never caught the name of, was also very friendly and welcoming every meal time and was great with other guests children. We would like to make a special mention of the two bar staff by the pool. During the day, Rafaela was always on hand, checking in to see if you needed or wanted anything to drink or eat. Within 5 minutes of us arriving at the pool on the first day she had came over to see us and from then on looked after us so well. During the evening, we sat by the pool bar after dinner and Elina again looked after us so well keeping an eye and anytime we got even close to finishing our drink she was over to ask if we wanted anything else but by the end of the week she didn't even need to ask, Rum &Coke and a Pina Colada (both of which were delightful) and we never had to wait for one. We got near the end of one round and another was brought over. We cannot thank Rafaela and Elina enough. The pool areas were all immaculate and lovely to be around. Water was very clean and refreshing and all round there is not much else to say! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very sad to leave as we cannot fault the hotel or staff in anyway. We will be hoping to return around this time next year and we cannot wait to do do! Thank you to everyone at the Hotel and we hope to see you again soon! Dave and Jess

Booked for a week all inclusive mid October. Had read previous reviews and sun bed availability issues and repetitive food but can honestly say, didn’t experience either! Upon arrival, we were greeted in reception with a refreshing beverage and asked to take a seat on the sofas to begin check-in. An App is then uploaded to your smartphone which acts as your key to your room (or you can request a std keycard if you prefer) We were then shown to our room, where enroute given a tour of the hotel & facilities. Room was immaculate! Cleaned daily and minibar re-stocked with beer, Prosecco & soft drinks. There’s a choice of 3 outdoor pools, one indoor and the beach. We chose to use the rooftop pool most days and never had an issue in getting any. You’re supplied with towels for use on the beach and pools, which are replaced daily. Staff are super friendly! Special mention has to go to Ioanna, Nada and Dimitris! Always chatty and by day two knew what drinks we liked! Food selection and quality were amazing! As we were all inclusive we did have the option to have one meal in the A La Carte restaurant but didn’t feel the need to as there was always a great selection at the buffet restaurant. We were so impressed by the staff & hotel, we’ve already re-booked for next year!

One of the best hotel stays we’ve had to-date. Well situated, staff are amazing, rooms are excellent and food served throughout the day is just as good. Palm Beach is just down the road (circa 10 minute walk) and is good for those want to party. Highly recommended.

The hotel design and layout itself is beautiful…stunning. The place itself is very clean and well taken care of. The pool room we stayed in was lovely and very comfortable although the restocking of the tea/coffee station was so erratic we ended up just buying supplies from the local shop. The drinks were tasty and the food was pleasant although sometimes erratic with changing seasonings of various every day items while labelling them the same or incorrect. A lot of the items weren’t labelled at all which made food selection harder and led to waste. The location of the hotel was perfect and I loved all the little different areas you could choose to spend time. I also highly recommend domes, kalhua beach and Buddha bar for food and drink to anyone staying in the area. As someone who has stayed in numerous 5 star hotels, a few things did bother me. The website informed me that the spa was included at no extra fee but this is not the case. Only the indoor pool is available to guests and it will cost guests an additional fee for the rest of the spa facilities ie steam room etc. as a guest at other 5 stars the hotel spa is always included and I found the fact there was no mention of this on the website a little disappointing. From what I was told this is because the spa is an external provider but the website should be upfront about this and I was assured by guest relations it would be updated. The hotel also doesn’t provide water with the evening meal and you’re forbidden from bringing your own which seems unreasonable and dangerous as a 5 star hotel, to capitalise on hydration in a hot climate. A little note about the a**osphere now… It was only May and there were already influencers everywhere, influencers pretending to use the beach and swim in the sea, influencers pretending to be having a good time everywhere in the hotel. At one point every single person at the rooftop bar was on their phone in silence. It did provide some light entertaining as the hotel had 0 a**osphere, even with live music. I also wondered why anyone would bring a kid to the hotel as the hotel appears to have absolutely 0 kids facilities and I felt bad for the kids who looked absolutely bored out of their minds. That said, I would stay in the hotel again for the facilities, the comfort and the location but at the moment it’s a low 4 star and needs some tweaks. I did speak to guest relations about the spa access who were interested in my overall experience so I mentioned some of the above and they advised they would feed this back which I fully expect they will after our conversation. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

We visited Akasha Beach for the first time. Having been to Greece on several occasions and always having a great experience, I decided to try a new hotel. We paid to go All Inclusive however this didn’t turn out to be your normal type of all inclusive. A lot of things you had to pay extra for which wasn’t explained to us. The All inclusive consisted of buffet style food which I found was very minimal selection. Certain staff members throughout the hotel were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you, however there were several members of staff who were rude. There is a lack of seating for the evening and no entertainment. This was difficult on one evening where it rained, there was no seating therefore resorted to our room balcony. You’ll find a large number of guests sat in the hotel lobby with their drinks on the floor, this is due to lack of seating. Personal belongings were tampered with by staff within room, including money being taken. When speaking to management, we were told they didn’t believe us and that they trust their staff. Top tip: Not a resort for families wanting entertainment, don’t do all inclusive if you don’t want the same food every day and don’t leave your belongings lying about in the room which you think you can call safe.
