What a cute little hotel. We had a room downstairs as we had large suitcases and the owner thought it would be easier than lugging the suitcases upstairs, which we appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious. My husband said it was the best scrambled eggs he’d had on our trip. Parking free and could park out back of hotel.

Would definitely recommend staying here. I booked the pilgrims rest last minute for an overnight stay after a wedding. The hosts were friendly and welcoming especially the guy who showed me to my room (unfortunately didn’t get his name) The room was clean and tidy and the bed was really comfortable. I went down for breakfast at 8.30 and was served toast with homemade jam and marmalade and I ordered the full English breakfast which was lovely. I thought the price was really reasonable too. Thank you to the hosts for making me feel welcome.
