The staff are mostly lovely and really helpful, with a few who look down on all inclusive. The bar looks really good but if you all inclusive you have to you a tiny bit hidden around the corner with a very little menu and only cheap off brand drinks. If you try and buy a proper drink they shoo you around to the all inclusive without even listening. The food is a buffet all you can eat, very well displayed with some cooked to order and the variety is really good. Its a shame its quite often a case if it looks good but taste is not a strong factor. The Location is really good both beaches are quiet close and the shops/nightlife are easy walking distance. All inclusive but no WiFi in the room, no drinks facilities in your room, no snacks outside of there set meal times.

Receptionist at night (bald overweight guy), was the worst receptionist we have ever experienced. No welcome, no smile, not helpful. BAD BAD BAD. He made us feel like an inconvenience. Hotel has strange & inconvenient drinks system if customer is 'All Inclusive'. Rooms we were given were average, nothing special. We asked to be moved to a better room which had a view over pool area. This is important, or customers will be looking directly into road and other hotel rooms across the road. The hotel has floors with different standards of rooms. Not all room are maintained adequately. Food is good. Pool area is good. Some of the staff are friendly, but you get the impression that the Hotel does not impress on its staff to be friendly & courteous.

We had one long thin pillow between us and a decorations cushion which we had to put on top of that pillow so we wasn’t flat against the bed. Scuff marks all over the room on arrival originally paid for a standard room however upon entering the hotel we was told straight away by receptionist that we wouldn’t like the room as it isn’t nice at all paid 140 euro to upgrade to a bathroom with no door barley cleaned dust all over the vents and scurt boards a Pepsi can out side on the balcony room keys that never worked meaning more than 15 times a broken shower which I had to ask 5 times to be fixed then a man came didn’t knock just let him self in dragged his muddy shoes through our room and all in our shower and left it as well as knocking over a full bottle of shower gel and just leaving it payed for half board and didn’t eat one meal within the hotel due to it meaning mostly the same meals every day and not much variety at all and a pool that was unbearably cold to the point that no one went in this the full holiday a lot of ants within the room to and walls very thin no happy at all with this
Response from Property: Dear guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, although we're truly sorry to hear that it fell short of your expectations. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the condition of your room. It's disappointing to learn that the upgrade didn't meet your expectations either. Your feedback is going to be shared with our team to prevent similar occurrences in the future. We're sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with the half-board meals and the lack of variety offered. We understand the importance of providing diverse dining options, and we strive daily to prepare new dishes with quality ingredients. Regarding the temperature of the pool, as you may understand, it's an outdoor pool, and since we are still in the month of April, where temperatures are around 12 degrees, the water can still be cold. We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay and hope that you will consider giving us another opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Warm regards,
Julie H

Just back from a 6 nights stay, was a little sceptical having read some bad reviews but in general we had an enjoyable family holiday. We were lucky with room alllcation and had one of the removated rooms which was very spacious and contained everything we needed. We booked all inclusive, drinks were fine with no issues with card system, food was disappointing purely due to not been hot enough and in the cases of meats unfortunately these were not fully cooked, we had to eat out on a number of occasions. Pool area was nice with plenty of sunbeds. Hotel entertainment was okay but not catered for English with a lot of been focused for french. Overall a good stay
Response from Property: Dear reviewer, Thank you for sharing your recent experience with us. We're pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay overall and found it to be good value for money. It's great to know that you were satisfied with your room allocation and that you had one of our renovated, spacious rooms that met your needs. However, we apologize for any disappointment you experienced with the temperature of the food and the cooking of the meats. Your feedback regarding these issues is valuable to us, and we will address them with our kitchen team to ensure improvements are made. We appreciate your honest review and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for an even better experience in the future. Warm regards,
Anastasiia

I had to buy a disinfection and cleaning tools to clean on arrival!! Everything dirty and smells horrible, one visit into a breakfast room was enough to not come again - cols horribly looking food and homeless people sharing the next table

1st the pllus points: I arrived at 1045 & despite being told check in wasn't until 1pm once i asked if i could check in early, the lovely receptionist called the cleaning team & i was told my room was ready so that was a big bonus. I had a requested a room high up & away from the lifts which was granted however i also asked for a balcony that got the afternoon sun. My balcony got no sun but i didn't mind due to bonus of checking in early. My room was bigger than i was expecting, I had booked a single room so was expecting a small room & single bed. But surprisingly i had a double bed. The hotel is big, pool area is large & the pool gets the sun in most areas all day. There are plenty of sun loungers & the pool has gates which are locked until it opens at 10am meaning no one can pre reserve sunloungers. The poolside bar staff were friendly & the drinks & food were decent & well priced. It has a good sized kids playground & it's only an 8 min walk to the nearest beach (down some steps) The receptionists were friendly & the female entertainment staff doing the aqua aerobics certainly put on a show. There is a large supermarket opposite which is convieniant. Now the negatives...The hotel was Full & i mean FULL of children/teenagers on school trips!! This was not mentioned anywhere & most of these groups seemed to have no teacher watching or caring what they got up to. My 1st day was spent listening to the shrill of the lifeguards whistle as she constantly told them off for ignoring pool rules. However they also ignored her & carried on meaning the whistle & her telling them off was all i heard... I had hoped it was just a one day thing but no...day two was the same...except there seemed like there were more kids! The only time i could get in the pool and relax was when they all went for lunch...otherwise you couldn't relax or have a swim as all the kids wanted to do was jump in & out of the pool....all day....every day. If that wasn't bad enough...it seemed like they hadn't been taught any manners & most of them seemed to think running up and down the corridors & banging on doors is 'normal' behaviour in a hotel. I've stayed in quieter hotels in Ibiza!!! My hotel room didn't have a fridge, a full length mirror or any plug sockets near the bed. The aircon was also pretty non exsistant, which during a major heatwave isn't ideal.... You also strangely get two chairs on the balcony but no table?? There is nowhere to hang your towels/bikinis on the balcony either - yet they have a sign saying don't hang things on the balcony!! Provide us with something to hang our stuff on and we would! Ridiculous & not what i expected. To say the entertainment is loud at night is an understatement! I wear earplugs and i could still hear what felt like 1000 teenagers singing Rihanna at 2330! I picked a hotel especially as it had a gym only to arrive & be told i had to pay €3 a day to use it! I've never gone to a hotel with a gym & been told to pay for it before. I wou
Response from Property: Dear Lau, First of all, thank you for telling us about your experience at Samba hoels, we are glad to know that much of your stay was positive, that the treatment you received was good and that you liked the room. However, it is worth mentioning that we are a very large hotel, with more than 400 rooms, it is obvious that all kinds of clients pass through here, there is a lot of movement of people and entertainment. We know that there are groups that do not have the respect or the education that we all would like, but as part of the hotel we always try to follow the rules, reinforcing security, separating schedules and rooms... and that each of our guests is feel as comfortable as possible. Regarding the services and equipment of the rooms, it is always specified on our website and portals, so that you can consult it before coming. That said, thanks again for staying with us and we encourage you to come back another time, which we are sure you will enjoy much more. Best regards,

Very Good

The hotel is nicely situated with walking distance to the center and beach. I was put in a penthourse suite, which was a very nice room with a huge balcony - like huge! I could host a party of 30 people dancing outside if I wanted that was very nice. The rooms were old but fine and clean. No refrigerator, but there were soaps, shampoo and towels supplied and even a bidet in the toilet. The hotel it selv if old and worndown with rust serveral places. The gym is a joke and would even require 4 euros for use per day, so no thank you. The breakfast buffet was above average with fresh bread. I got the halfboard which included free evening meals and most of the buffet food was not to my liking but there would always be one dish which was really nice like grill-roasted pig and for a ridicolously low price so I would always go for that just to have the option.

Stayed over Christmas period. Food was amazing 100%. It kept us going and kids enjoyed the food only. The hotel room door was broken and looked as though someone had used a hammer to gain entry. Accommodation opposite to what was advertise. Room was outdated, bathroom filthy, corridors dirty and we had a faulty shower head and bath times were a nightmare . Staff were lovely and very kind . Pool had cold water and not used at all. No intertainment for kids. The only thing that kept us going was the food otherwise we would have come back earlier than expected. Overall l would not go back and would not recommend based on accommodation.

We stayed here for 7 nights over the Christmas period. After reading the reviews we were a bit concerned but went for it anyway. After all it's a three star. On arrival we were greeted by a receptionist guy who was very pleasant and helpful. We went to our rooms which were very clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel was over all very nice while we were there but even on Xmas day and eve gala meals were aimed at french. Frogs legs and snails! The snacks at the bar were ok but always so dry. The bar staff were rude at best with only two staff in the entire week not being rude or obnoxious. At one point during our stay we noticed the cigarette bin was on fire outside and told the bar man (tall dark haired guy with glasses) that the bin was on fire and he told us to wait we said it's urgent it's smoking and he repeated wait! He was not bothered and eventually another bar man (older darked hair guy) spotted what we were talking about and dealt with it. The only barmaid who was remotely friendly was Ashley. The key card system for drinks is the worst we have ever experienced in any hotel. You have to give a card for a drink and get the card back when returning the glass. Sounds easy enough but in reality they scan your room card every time also causing huge queues and constantly needing to remember to bring two lots of cards and show your wrist band for a drink! The biggest issue with this hotel is the entertainment if you can call it that. The first night we had flamenco dancers. The second third fourth night we had the same DJ the fifth night we had a magician and then we went back to the DJ again before the return of the same flamenco dancers. The DJ was awful. He only played french music either party songs or ballroom. There was nothing for the children to do as promised. The kids activities were only on Xmas Eve from 11 am for an hour and then nothing again and all they did was shoot a target and play connect four with them. Everything was aimed at the French we had French bingo french billiards french darts french wii bowling French dance lessons. The British bar downstairs is a welcome haven from the French music but it's just a bar area and a dance floor but no one dances as the music isn't loud. The hotel is on a hill whichever way you go when you exit so it's not great if you have mobility issues. The toilets in the reception area were also always broken and they never had loo roll in! The toilets by the British bar were better but not one door locked which was an issue. It's a basic three star and if you speak fluent French and enjoy a ball room dance then you've found your ideal hotel! The visit from Santa was a nice touch though and the cleaners were busy although we did face a few issues with bedding being dirty and not changed the bed just remade. And ask receptionist for pillows you get one hard thin one per person in the room but they are able to give you plump new ones if you ask.

3 star hotel, more like 0.3! We arrived at the hotel at midnight to be greeted with the most unhelpful receptionist, we should have known at this point, this was the best we were going to get for the next 4 days! The check-in was made as difficult as possible, even though he had our names, we had to email all the booking information over, via the slowest WiFi ever! You would not feed the food to a rats! Breakfast was pointless, cold hotdog sausages and I'm not sure you could call it bacon, undercooked eggs and no beans or tomatos, watery yoghurt and cardboard cereal. Lunch was no better, soggy chips and pizza, tasteless pasta and salad that was past its best a week earlier. All the food was either barely warm or cold. They do not know what food hygiene is, touching raw meet then cooked meet without washing hands! One night the only meat option was pork, other nights poorly cooked chicken, the soup was hot water with a bit of salt, no food was labeled so it was a guess as to what you were getting. Most of the food was inedible. All the staff are rude and arrogant with a chip on their shoulder. They huff when they have to serve you a drink! Pretty sure that is what they get paid to do! One member of the bar staff called Ash was really nice, it was a pitty the others didn't follow her lead. They have a pointless drinks system, you have to have a wrist band, a drinks card and your room key just to get a drink, it's one drink at a time and have to return your glass before you can get your next drink! Also do not attempt to get a drink at 23.31 as they will refuse to serve you! However, it's ok for them to start the breakfast service 15minutes late!!! My door key-card stopped working and when I asked for help I was told my room was no longer my room and it was allocated to someone else! It was only after I told them exactly what was in the room, they assisted me to gain entry and fix my card! I would never stay at this hotel again! The best part of the stay was checking-out knowing I wouldn't be coming back!

Standard hotel for the price, but watch out for the food. I got food poisoning!
