"Traditional mountain Inn situated in quiet village with river nearby. After a miscalculation of journey time we arrived very early (around 1pm) but still received a warm welcome from the owners and were shown to our rooms to relax. The place has a fantastic retro look and is spotlessly clean, our lovely room had a tiny balcony on one side, sofa and great bedding. There was a roomy guest lounge upstairs that would be great for groups. It has a bar and restaurant serving good local fare. The breakfast was superb with so much food including freshly made pancakes! One of our favourite stays during a bike tour of Spain&Portugal, we hope to return and would recommend to anyone seeking authentic hospitality 🥰"

"Warm welcome on arrival. Breakfast varied and plentiful, if a little modest. Pool closed until June. 20 minute walk into Potes town where the life is - restaurants and bars. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom partially modernised - room 113. Bit noisy facing the road but not too bad. Popular with bikers - nice people. Good stopover."

"Just the most beautiful hotel in the most outstanding location. The views were breathtaking. Alex and Rocio were so welcoming and warm. Rocio made us a vegan cake and Alex went out of his way to buy veggie burgers for us when we found out we were vegetarians. I would 100% recommend this magical place. About a 20 minute drive to Potes, the historical, Muy bonito town."

"Staff were unfriendly. Room extremely basic with inadequate storage space. Bed uncomfortable. No fridge or water provided. Room dirty around edges and bathroom smelt unpleasant. Extremely hot and noisy (road and other guests). I was also eaten alive by mosquitoes and other bugs. Breakfast is farcical - read the other reviews. I would advise people not to stay here despite the good location. "

"I had to cancel my reservation and gave almost 30 days notice of the cancellation. According to the cancellation policy, they should refund me 60 percent of the deposit. I sent three emails to the hotel to request a refund but never received a response. Not happy!"

"We stayed here for 4 nights on a walking holiday. We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is a beautiful location and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. But I have to say the food is wonderful, really special. I enjoyed every meal, Chef Nico is very talented! Thanks to all the team for making us feel so welcome and looked after."
