Dog and Fox

Friendly welcome and warm, comfortable quirky rooms. Images of dogs, foxes, hounds, horses plus old tennis racquets make for a characterful interior. This place was buzzing even on a Monday evening! Current Menu could do with more vegetarian options for my taste- spiced gins served as a complimentary winter warmer were a nice touch! Busy location in Wimbledon Village but well insulated so noise doesn’t disturb. Very comfortable king size beds and honesty box for any items taken from the large selection in the room. Breakfast is good-natural yoghurts would have been a welcome addition. Great cooked selection.

Slightly reticent to write this review as I don't want everyone else to find out this amazing hotel! The rooms are spacious, clean, very well designed and extremely comfortable.

My daughter had her 30th birthday party in your function room so family travelled from all over and stayed at your lovely hotel. Our rooms was very large and comfortable. The staff in the bar and for breakfast the next day were very helpful and friendly. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.

Thank you to Eric, Anna and all the wonderful staff for making us so welcome. We had a really great time. We loved our rooms too! so cosy! we had stayed before but had not had the rooms overlooking the street so we were delighted. All the staff went out of their way to help us especially Eric and another lovely waiter on Thursday night. They are truly so fun and friendly. We will be back! :)

Just what we needed, a wonderful few days away in Wimbledon village. We had a lovely room. Our breakfasts and Sunday roast were delicious. We received a warm welcome from Duncan, Nikki and their team :) Would definitely recommend it for a place to stay, eat and drink!

From arrival to departure the staff could not have been more friendly. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Although there was a problem with the kitchen gas/electric everyone pulled together to make the stay seamless. I will definitely stay again and the Hotel du Vin should really look at the competition and pull their socks up!!!

A lovely character hotel, huge bedroom with lovely ensuite, super comfortable bed, sofa and lots of in room facilities. All the staff were professional and very polite. The attached restaurant and pub oozes character and quality. From a super breakfast to a Sunday roast the food was first class. Highly recommend!
