If you’re a fan of avocado bathroom suites then you’re in luck! Staff are friendly and helpful. Post Duran Duran gig they served us at the bar until we went to bed at 2am… really nice vibe although my room suffered from outside traffic noise.

Good location near tube. This hotel is spotless and this is very important for me. The sink in the bathroom was leaking and the room was very cold, it was very cold weather for March but no heating in the room, only the bathroom. There was a new cashier system in place and the staff were struggling to get used to it, very long wait for drinks etc because of this. This is my second time staying here. It is a good base for London. Breakfast was ok.

The location is really convenient. The distance to many tourist attractions is walkable. Also, the room size in this price range is very ideal. The lobby is quite decent as well.

The online pictures and what you really get are different. Very tired worn out hotel and not cheap. Room fixtures and pictures, skirtings covered in dust - I could write my name on the mirror. Bath dirty and dust on shower rose. Had to ask twice to get them cleaned. Safe did not work as needed a service. Not fixed while we were there ( two nights). Had an iron but no ironing board. I got told why did I not ask for one? Well because everything else I asked about was not done first time and quite frankly I was worn out with it all. Staff could not guarantee laundry could be done in a day. Were unable and didn't care that they could not get us a taxi to get Heathrow express. we had to hail one down on Bayswater road. No security at all - any one can walk in at any time. The key cards fail constantly - apparently that was my fault as magnetic strip compromised by my phone - although in all the other hotels I stay in all over the world this never happens. Totally did not care about any concerns and were quick to blame me - customer service nil. Restaurant and bar staff friendly and did a good job.

Loved this hotel. A very short walk to bus stops and Lancaster Gate tube station. Hotel staff excellent e.g. I queried before booking if they would hold luggage the morning we were due to arrive and within 45 minutes had a friendly e-mail to say yes. A good breakfast buffet. Rooms may be on the smaller side but stylish and air-conditioned. Will use this hotel when staying in central London

I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights and my experience was really nice. The stuff, the room and the breakfast were perfect! Everything was clean and also the staff always were cleaning. The location is the best, near Hyde Park and Nothing Hill and also near public transport. Thank you very much to be a great place during my visit to this beautiful city!! :)
