Very satisfied with a hotel, worthy of this price. When I made a mistake at the time of booking, I saw that the room information showed that the facilities for the disabled were provided, and I didn’t think about it. I found that it was a special room for the disabled. It was really embarrassing. . . Before the check-in, the hotel contacted me via Ctrip and asked me about my check-in time. My answer may arrive at noon, which will be far earlier than the hotel's check-in time. The reply will be arranged according to the situation on the day. On the day of the check-in, we arrived at the hotel around 11:00 and they were all ready. Thank you very much! The hotel was originally remodeled by the bank and opened only last year, new and atmospheric. There are seven or eight restaurants in the hotel lobby, and the taste is comprehensive. Geographically, it is located in the downtown area, walking close to the hotels around the Thames, and next to the subway station. The decor of the room is completely classic British style, the details are carefully polished, very special and very like. There are no less than 20 kinds of bath products, which is extremely luxurious. I saw a comment on the book saying that the sound of the music downstairs was noisy, but the actual experience was completely unrecognizable. The sound insulation of the window was well done. The sound of the door next door was noisy. This may be the only fly in the ointment.

Aptel East

London|1.53km from Steam & Rye
We stayed here for 3 nights to celebrate my daughters 40th, we stayed on the 5th floor, we had room 30 which had a dodgy door so make sure it’s closed properly if you stay in it, the room was advertised as a city view but all we could see was the royal London hospital, my daughter had room 33 which you could see the shard from, just so your aware if your paying extra for the view it’s not really worth it, anyway to the good points of which there were many, check in was very quick and easy, you will need a £50 refundable deposit upon arrival, the reception staff were all very helpful and friendly, the room was very modern and we had plenty of space, the bed was comfy and we never heard any noise from anywhere during our stay, the rooms are a little sp**** and clinical, a few pictures on the walls would make a huge difference but didn’t in any way affect our stay, the area itself isn’t the best, lots of shops that were wholesale only, all shuttered up on a night with lots of graffiti on them, if you leave the apartments and turn right you come to the Castle pub, we went in here for a drink but the music wasn’t to our liking so left after one, if you keep to the left where the street splits at the Castle it’s like a different world, new buildings all very nice and clean, this way takes you towards the Tower Hill tube station which we used as we called into the Goodman’s field (Wetherspoons) for a breakfast to start the day, there are closer tube stations to the Aptel though, we would stay here again but it’s a little too far out for me, but don’t hesitate if your thinking of booking it, you won’t be disappointed

The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. The door is very small and it is easy to walk by accidentally, so that every time you go back to the neighborhood, you have to look at it. There are stairs and elevators (the elevator is so narrow that it can accommodate two adults and two large luggage). But none of these things affect my quality experience. First of all, the reception was very enthusiastic. Although English was like white paper, I couldn't understand what she was saying, but I still felt her thoughtful and meticulous care and warm attitude. The facilities in the hotel from the inside to the outside did not have a sense of centuries-old. Retained some hundred years of temperament, but the internal facilities are very modern, especially the bathroom, simple and clean, enough to meet my needs for the bathroom. Especially worth mentioning is that coffee, tea bags, biscuits, chocolates in the room are provided every day. Water and bubble water can be free and unlimited. The day before, we also bought water in the supermarket to take it back. Although it is less than 1 pound, if you need to buy it back every day, It's also very troublesome and expensive. In particular, I am a big water drinker 😂 The Nestle capsule coffee machine in the room is easy to use. It makes me want to buy a thought to bring it back for the first time. The hotel is located in the financial street. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The bus bus and subway station are close at hand. It is still very convenient to go back to the hotel to rest when you are tired. By the way, this trip to London has a much better experience of the bus than the subway. In short, the hotel likes it very much. If you have the opportunity, you will stay again. I am willing to recommend it to my friends.

Great St Helen Hotel

Bank London|0.15km from Steam & Rye
Location was excellent just a 3 minute walk from where the Burns Night Supper was being held in Threadneedle Street. The cabbie at Euston hadn’t heard of the hotel nor had several of his mates he phoned on the way. By the way it cost me £25 in a black cab from Euston station. Approx 30 mins. I was in room G1. Just off the reception on the ground floor. It was a very small double with the window directly onto the street. It was pretty noisy. The wardrobe didn’t have a full length drop as there was a fridge in there so I couldn’t hang my dress or my coat. The air con didn’t work. I asked the chap on reception who tried without success instead suggesting I used the fan in the room. I did for a bit but it was too noisy and you can’t get to the window to open it. I imagine it would be very hot in the summer. There is construction work just outside which started around 7am. The bathroom was clean and compact. I would say it suitable for a single occupancy only as one side of the bed was up against the window. Check in was straightforward note that you need to show photo ID. The main reason for the low score was the scuttling noises I could hear in the walls which I am pretty sure was vermin, I definitely wouldn’t recommend the room I was in. Perhaps the rooms on higher floors were better. Location wise for me was very good. It’s a no frills option but for the price you pay was pretty reasonable for London.

Very nice hotel and amazing location. Nice shops and tesco market near the hotel, about a 3 minutes walk. The nearest underground stations are monument and bank. The employees are very cooperative and helpful. There is complementary coffee and water in the lobby which is wonderful and a time saver. Room and bathroom are clean, bed is comfy. As for the facilities, unfortunately there wasn’t a safe box in the room but you can get a safe box in the lobby which both you and the staff have keys to, both keys have to be present to open the safe box. And one of the rooms that we booked didn’t have a fridge which we didn’t mind at all. In regards to the quietness, we can slightly hear the doors opening from the rooms near us. Over all I would rate the hotel 9/10. Thanks to ismail and parshant .

We were struggling to work out our evening. We stopped at the St Germaine branded bar on Bishopsgate. We were greeted by Elpee. From the outset they made us feel welcome and went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable. They let us choose our seat, and set us up for what we expected to be a brief libation. My disabled partner and I were really impressed with Elpees attentiveness and quality of service. Being in London and disabled it can be a hard to navigate and aggressive environment. Our stop refreshed us, and made a it an exciting stop in our brief to the city.

I agree with other reviews, clean, modern, friendly and a really good location, across the road from the Four Seasons, a nice quiet easy London neighborhood location. Nickolai at reception is the most helpful receptionist/concierge I have ever run into and we travel a lot. He figured out rooms for a large family get together that really worked when we checked in, he actually WALKED us to various points nearby to get us in the right direction. They absolutely need to keep him. Beds, black out curtains, pillows, room amenities, excellent. The restaurant bar serves all day, from morning to around 10.45. Taxis are hard come by in this location and so are Ubers, but we never went without and London Tower tube is 2 minutes away. All taxi's and Ubers took at least 15 minutes. You are far from Convent Garden and more central points (20 mins by taxi and around 15-20 pounds. 30 pounds and 30 to 40 mins to get to Paddington Station which has the Heathrow Express train. If you are planning on underground, not a problem. If you want a more upgraded room, book the deluxe with balcony. We had several and while you will not have adjoining rooms, you can access all those rooms via the balconies. It was also fun to have drinks on the balcony which runs the length of the balcony rooms with a great view of London Bridge.
