Mount Whitney Motel

The office had a white door, but it was grimey around the door handle from people's hands. I thought, "I hope this isn't an indicater for the overall cleanliness of the motel". The parking was close to the door, as you would expect in a classic motor court, but this was the closest that I have ever seen. The room was not ADA accessible as there was a 6" step into the room and there was miniscule space between the foot of the bed and the wall, not big enough for a wheelchair. It was clean inside, except for the used wash cloth hanging in the shower curtain. Wifi was bad, I got kicked off several times during the session. There were adequate power outlets, one, on each side of the bed. The bed was fine and so was the air conditioning. The sheete were a polyester blend, not 100% cotton but I didn't care since I was so tired.

Nice older property. Well maintained by the owners. On the Main Street so all walkable. Excellent comfortable stay good value

Convenient location, good price. Paper-thin walls so bring ear plugs just in case. Nice family running the place.

Place is old, somewhat clean. Chairs in the room were filthy, half stained. Staff was polite and nice. Never staying there Austin, wont recommend.

It is small, but it's nicely maintained and I was very comfortable in my room. The 395 is loud, but it quiets down in the evening. Overall I had a pleasant stay.

Great stay, friendly family operated Hotel/Motel…. Bed was very comfortable had a great sleep! Great food options walking distance! Thanks for having me!

This hotel should be $99, it is a dump and needs serious repairs

The motel got the job done of getting a good night sleep after a hike, but the bathtub would not drain while being used.

Nice lady at the front desk. Tap water is good to drink. Cozy and clean room. Overall a nice motel with a pool.
