"This room does not allow the third person so I booked another room for only one person. The room is pretty spacious and clean. I even have a balcony which faces the city view. The views are astonishing. The heater works well, and they even offer water and tissues inside the room. The hotel was kind of far away from the city so it’s better to drive during the daytime so that is not that dangerous when there’s no lightning on the road."

"I stayed at the wonderful 'The Hotel Rural el Molino de Felipe' for 5 nights to celebrate the birthday of my dear friend Trevor, I think there were about 50 of us coming from many parts of the world to be together. Everything about the hotel was remarkable, clean spacious rooms, friendly and very helpful staff and the pool which was always refreshing with plenty of space, beds and towels for us all to congregate and enjoy. We were also very happy to eat the food cooked by the brother of our friend Andrea, he lives in the nearby village of Mula. What a delight it was, he surprised us day and night using traditional ingredients sourced locally, He cooked infant of us with great skill 2 massive Paella's a fish and a vegetarian one, they were outstanding quality. he also organised for his friend Carlos to come and slice 2 huge Iberia hams for us all. I fully recommend this beautiful retreat Hotel to my friends and colleagues. Thank you Thank you to the very patient owners Alonso and Paaqui and all."

"I just spent a few days at this campsite. We weren't very lucky with the weather, but the campsite can't do anything about that. I just want to thank the staff for their help. Because of the torrential downpour, we had to evacuate the caravan, but they relocated us to a bungalow, free of charge. I don't understand the behavior of some guests. Seeing the problems the water was causing, they wanted to leave with their caravan no matter the price. The people are very unsupportive. Otherwise, everything was great. Great location, about a five-minute walk from the beach, new facilities, friendly and helpful staff. In short, we'll definitely come back, although we might stay in a bungalow... we loved it! And again, thank you so much to all the staff, you're brilliant!"

"Following positive reviews I booked the Mirador for a 2 night stay for my husbands 65th birthday on August 10th. The hotel from the outside is stunning and in an amazing setting. Pool facilities and restaurant ambience are impressive. Despite many people online saying they struggled to find it we drove straight there from Totana following the hotels yellow tourist signs no problem Our check in at reception was chaotic and the person didn’t seem to know we had completed the pre booking and was unable to give us much information due to the language barrier. We eventually had to request to be escorted to our room door as we had no idea how to get there (which was stunning by the way and had all the facilities expected of a boutique hotel) and were left on our own explore the hotel facilities of the wider hotel with no guidance. Unfortunately lack of staff due to days off left Gustavo the hotel director tried to do everything in the hotel more or less on his own therefore service was not up to the standard one would expect. Gustava is obviously an excellent chef as the food he prepared was of an amazing quality but it was clear that not only cooking the food and waiting tables, manning reception and trying to be bartender were too much for one person and he was physically exhausted. We had read online about the amazing food and were excited for dinner. On the first night the service was very slow and we were disappointed that over 40% of the starters were unavailable which left my husband as a pescatarian quite challenged with choice. The food was amazing when we got it and he cooked my pork chop to perfection. Due to the hotels location most people choose to eat or drink in the hotel and on day 2 we arrived back in the afternoon to find nobody serving any pre dinner drinks and the other guests asking us what was happening. In fact our room neighbours had been waiting over an hour and a half for a beer but there were no staff around. The restaurant was due to open at 8 and at 8.15 my husband eventually located a member of staff in the kitchen who informed us the restaurant was shut. After pleading we managed to get her to open the bar and at least get our neighbours a beer. We were informed food would be served in an hour ( still with the out of stock items from a limited menu ) so we made do with some tapas dishes for quickness but not really what we had envisaged or seen online. Breakfast was a challenge in trying to understand what they served with no menu but talking to others including native Spanish speakers they had the same issue. This morning some people waited for toast for over an hour of sitting down…… not great service As we were leaving on Weds we saw more staff around who helped get the jacuzzi back working as this had been unusable on the Tuesday as well as a pool bar that was now staffed ( for all our trip we had had to walk to the restaurant 5 mins away and find somebody to dispense a drink and carry it back to th"
