The condition of furniture in the room was old and broken down and had stains. The bathroom shower curtain was torn and dirty. Poor lighting.

The place was a dump. Pinching pennies on everything. Thermostats were at their lowest setting. Place was cold. The free breakfast was cold cereal and prepackaged bagels and such.

My stay was good, everything went well. I was packing and I had asked the front desk for a little bit of extra time to check out and they said I could have 15 extra minutes and the head of housekeeping came to my door and argued with me about the check out and I told her I could be through if she would let me finish it. I had a small spiral notebook that got left in my room. I called as soon as I got home and found out that I left it I. The girl at the front desk was a bit short and snappy with me and said to call back the next day, so I did and the same thing. I don’t feel like she even asked housekeeping for me. It had a lot of very important notes and Dr appointments in it and I even had paperwork for my upcoming eye surgery appointments as well as phone numbers. When we were at the hotel, the girl at the desk was nice then.

Thermostat in room didn't work and shower gel dispenser in the shower didn't work. this wouldn't have been a problem but there was no soap. Hotel is getting pretty old but the staff was very responsive to the problem of the A/C unit.

The receptionist was excellent and very friendly. Awesome. Room was clean but about a dozen sheet rock screws were sticking out about an inch in ceiling. Ladies were nervous bout it falling on them. We stayed away from that part of room.

The front desk staff was extremely rude and not helpful at all. The door would not lock. The bed was hard.

Bathroom door didn't latch shut, tv didn't work, had to wait a while for hot water, kind of a musty smell in room, we could have dealt with all of that. But then on our 2nd night our ceiling started leaking from the rain. So at 11:30 pm, we had to pack everything up and switch rooms. We paid $700 for 2 nights for the 2 room suite. For that kind of money I expected better. The maintenance/housekeeping people came right away to check the leak, and they were apologetic but somewhat shocked like they didn't believe us before they saw it. The front staff didn't seem overly concerned or apologetic at all. And apparently the manager was out of country so they told us there was nothing that could be done until they were back. There was no concern or urgency. Because I booked through ******* the hotel said there's nothing they can do about a refund. ******* is being helpful and is currently trying to contact the hotel manager to help us out.
