We found this very affordable villa by accident and were thrilled when we did. The architecture was regal yet comfortable and was 600 years old. Our room overlooked the countryside and was so restful. Dinner was fabulous and the parmesan/mushroom was the best soup I have ever tasted. The staff throughout were like family and there is not one thing to fault. Both the outside grounds and the Villa itself were beautiful.

Beautful Villa estate...totally renovated in 2020...in San Michele..4km outside Lucca...nice room with balcony...beautiful glass veranda for breakfast and dinner..great food..and very friendly and helpful staff..highly recommend

Friendly attentive staff start to finish. Really enjoyed the pool area on the hot days. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to be had. Breakfast was beautiful and yummy. We had dinner there our first evening and our party of 8 were all pleased. Thank you again to the extremely helpful staff. Would stay at Villa St Michele again.

We stayed here for a week on a family holiday, using it as a base for daytrips. We travelled to Lucca, Pisa, forte dei Marmi and even la Spezia. All perfectly doable. Lucca itself is maybe 10 minutes driving. Thotel itself is a gorgeous Palazzo in an olive tree garden. Very quiet and peacuful. A real gem of a hotel. Very atmospheric inside, perfectly clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff. We enjoyed a late night drink ever evening in the bar, which perhapos was a bit boring but nevertheless we enjoyed a lot. All in all a great stay, and hope to one day come back!

Absolutely fantastic hotel. We had the most beautiful week in wonderful, relaxing surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We can only recommend this beautiful place. If at any time we come near, we will go back.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Everything was perfect, beautiful building and surroundings, lovely staff and amazing food! We arrived from Pisa airport and it was the perfect start to our honeymoon in Tuscany. We can’t wait to come back, thank you!

What a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. On our way to a family wedding the hotel provided a very relaxing stopover with an excellent dinner sitting on the terrace - thoroughly recommend staying here

Set away from the town centre which we wanted because we were driving around the country. Lovely hotel with a great pool, the water was perfect. Would have liked to see some bar food as we arrived late and the kitchen was closed. Rooms were lovely but stairs really strange (you need to climb them to know why)! Nice staff, recommended
