I suggest you avoid this hostel. First, the air conditioner doesn't work. When we went there, Lyon was 22 degrees, which was super hot, but the air conditioner didn't work all night. I told the front desk and they kept saying they were dealing with it, but they never dealt with it. Second, the room facilities are very average. I really don't know that there is not even a kettle in the room after booking for nearly 100 pounds. Third, downstairs is the hotel's own restaurant, which is open until very late at night, and downstairs are full of drunkards, which is very noisy. Finally, the location is really average. You basically have to walk for a while and it's all up and down. In short, except for being a little clean and the hotel front desk has a good attitude, there is nothing to recommend.

It was clean and the interior was nice.
The receptionist spoke English, so I didn't have to worry about the language aspect.
There were a lot of slopes around the hotel, so it was hard to carry our suitcases, but the wonderful stay made up for it!

The bunkbeds where so uncomfortable to get in and there was no space to put your stuff away... I went so crazy looking for my belongings that I got roobed while my staying.. If you have a problem.. The Only way to get in touch by Phone it would be speaking french..

2 USB sockets for every bed. Beds that you enter at one end rather than the middle, making them more private. Beautiful communal area/cafe. Very good facilties, like for cooking, & laundry. In a great location for quirky bars. Really excellent place, exactly what you hope for from a hostel, but done a lot better than most.

Nice and clean however there was no shampoo provided as described and you had to pay to rent a towell and lock for the storage lockers. Food and drinks were average for the price.
