Happy Days

Great place, location and owners. Apartaments are renovated and well equipped. There are two pools and bar with great good. Owners are fantastic giving you very friendly welcome and keep very comfortable during whole stay. Apts are very close to old city and shops area.

Stayed here in May after booking a holiday through loveholidays Ireland. Had an amazing experience from the time we arrived. A family run hotel that left me not wanting to leave. Rooms were spotless and towels and sheets were changed every second day. every person working here left a great impact on us. the owners treat all the staff with the utmost respect and you can see that if follows through to the great customer service experience that we received at Happy days. a special thanks to the owners, Fae, Georgia, Eva and Spiros for making our stay an unforgettable experience. Babis and Elena was absolutely amazing behind the bar. nothing was to much trouble and everyone went out of their way to make sure the customers were happy. we booked several excursion through the hotel and never felt ripped off. we are looking very much forward to our next trip to Crete and staying at Happy Days again.

This is a little gem hidden in old town Malia. My request for a ground floor room was actioned by the management and my 1 bed apartment was exceptionally clean - the fridge was spotless and the pots and pans etc all looked like they were brand new. The bedroom was a good size with a large double bed 2 bed side tables and a vanity alcove with mirror and unit for make up etc The shower room was tastefully tiled and again exceptionally clean. There was a good sized walled patio with table and comfy chairs The pool area was spotless as were the 2 swimming pools. There were plenty of sun beds and also a swing hammock and outside tables and chairs beside the pool bar / restaurant. The owners were more than accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The drinks were competitively priced and the measures were generous! The choice of food was superb and I never had a bad meal. They even made kleftiko ( my favourite Greek dish ) at my request. The atmosphere in the bar in the evenings was warm and friendly an even though it was early in the season we all enjoyed a great karaoke night. I will definitely be returning as my solo holiday gave me many Happy Days - a very aptly named establishment.

5 and a half years ago, my wife and I visited Happy Days and spent a very happy holiday there. We always said that we would go back, but due to various reasons, and the fact that I lost my wife last year meant this was not to be. This year, I was looking for a week’s break and Happy Days popped up on my search. On my arrival, Georgia recognised me straightaway, and also remembered my wife. I was given an apartment overlooking the pools and bar. I had booked B&B and had breakfast for 5 of my 7 days. It was basic, but it was what I asked for. I always eat my other meals out, so am not in a position to comment. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful - you only have to ask. Yes, the rooms are basic, but they are clean and are cleaned most days. My bedding was changed on day 3, so no complaints at all. You can self-cater if you wish. No need for air con this week. My sincere Thanks to Eva, Faye and Georgia, in fact the whole family, for making my stay (another) excellent one. Will see You all again soon xx

We stayed here as we were in Crete for a family wedding. Happy Days is one the the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at!! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, we left feeling like friends rather than just guests of the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing too ❤️ I would 100% recommend Happy Days

After feeling a bit apprehensive, my father and I needn’t have worried. This place is fantastic. We were immediately struck with how clean the place was. The rooms we were allocated were fantastic. Towels are changed every second day, the room is cleaned on the same basis. There is a large menu available, we ate breakfast every day, which was cooked by Eva. She is an excellent cook. Faye welcomed us the night we arrived, a lovely lady, who runs the hotel side of things, Georgia, Faye’s sister, is the life and soul of the place, with a sparkling personality, is game for a laugh and runs the bar. Both sisters make fab cocktails and are willing to give advice on things to do, sightseeing, quad safaris, their knowledge is endless. My father and I will never forget our holiday, at Happy Days Studios, Spiros, Eva, Faye and Georgia made our holiday, they snuck their way into our hearts. I hope to go back next April with my husband. My Dad is thinking about going back this September. Until we meet again Donald the Dog sand Jo xx

So clean, comfortable and friendly . Shops, bars, beach are a short stroll away . Will definitely be back . Family run business. Family cannot do enough for you. Food is beautiful. Cocktails gorgeous. Room cleaned regularly and plenty clean towels. Water in fridge on arrival. Room gorgeous and views stunning . Recommend trying the quad bike tour which is based nearby.
