Legend tells of Saturn God of the Harvest striking a volcanic crater with a mighty thunderbolt causing a river of warm mineral-infused waters to rush over the valley of Saturnia. Generations of bathers have enjoyed the health-giving properties of the waters which gush from the spring at a rate of 500 litres per second and at a constant temperature of 37 C. This hotel is styled on a large American resort with Spa, golf and onsite restaurants, I felt like I was more in Palm Springs than Italy but facilities and service were great if looking for a place to stay with amenities rather than typical Tuscany character this is the place to stay.

Excellent stay! Don’t think you need more than a day or two here, but staff was excellent and food was great. Very happy we were upgraded to a suite upon arrival. The natural springs were amazing to experience. Highly recommend. The smell of sulfur can be a bit much at times but you get used to it.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent and the hotel was very clean. The spa pool is lovely and soothing and made my skin feel amazing. The restaurant was lovely although limited in choice. We are English and did struggle with the menu translation and communication with the staff. The rooms are lovely and spacious and beautiful however showing some signs of wear. Worth a nights stay to swim in the spa pool.

Our stay here was amazing! Attentive staff, well appointed rooms and there are no word on the grounds and thermal pools, jacuzzis and waterfalls. Restaurant was excellent also. Top notch relaxing couple of days!
