1. Singapore Zoo – White Tiger

When you visit the Singapore Zoo, one of the most popular spots is the white tiger enclosure! As a result of a mutated gene, these white tigers stand out with their white coat, brown stripes, and blue eyes. Do you know that all the white tigers in zoos are actually descendants of one tiger named Mohan? This includes the two white tiger siblings at the Singapore Zoo, which are named Pasha and Keysa. You can capture stunning pictures of these rare creatures at the Mandai Wildlife Reserve today!

2. Singapore Zoo – Orangutan

Another beloved creature in the Singapore Zoo is the famous orangutan! The orangutans are the largest tree-dwelling mammals, and they are found in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. At the Singapore Zoo, you can get a chance to see the orangutans climbing in the trees right above your head. Take this chance to observe these fantastic apes closely, and watch as they use their special feet with long toes to grasp branches. Just be careful to duck if they start peeing!

Orangutans in the Singapore Zoo are clever creatures with distinctive personalities. Hence, don’t be surprised to see Labu snatching food from his fellow orangutans, or Veera pulling on others’ fur!
