Singapore Zoo delivered a perfect, trouble-free day out—everything was fantastic! Open natural enclosures let you spot happy, active animals without harsh cages, grounds are immaculately kept, staff are friendly, and animal shows + feeding encounters are wonderful. Trams, kid zones, and clear signage make exploring effortless. No complaints at all; it’s a top-tier zoo well worth every minute.

It's a good deal to buy tickets for all the five major theme parks in 'Mandai Forest Reserves', that too coming with a 'Destination Pass' which allowed me to skip the long queue in each of the entrances, for a cheap-cheap price. One need to reserve the date and time to make this voucher to work which I did a day before my visit and the confirmation from the Mandai team was sent within minutes. Awesome service from Trip.com

I went to the Night Safari because it's a famous tourist attraction in Singapore. It's a bit far from the city center, and since it's a night safari, it's only open at night, so the location isn't ideal for people in transit. The wait time was about 20 minutes. As you'd expect from a night safari, it was dark. There wasn't any lighting, so it was dark and I couldn't see the animals very well.

One of the must-see spots on your Singapore trip is the Night Safari! Known as the world's first nighttime zoo, it allows you to observe animals in their natural habitats, something rarely seen during daytime visits. The park's lighting is cleverly designed, creating a perfect atmosphere that's neither too dark nor too bright. It feels like you're exploring a real jungle. The most popular attraction is the tram ride, which takes you around the park in about 40 minutes. You can see many animals up close, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and deer, and efficiently tour the park while listening to the guide's commentary. If you have more time, the walking trails are also highly recommended. You can observe animals from a surprisingly close distance, offering a different kind of enjoyment than the tram ride. Furthermore, the nighttime shows are another highlight. They offer fun and educational content about the animals' abilities and habits, enjoyable for both adults and children. The Night Safari offers a completely different and special experience from a daytime zoo. If you're visiting Singapore, it's definitely a place worth visiting! ⸻ 📍 Highlights of the Night Safari 🚋 Night Safari Tram A popular attraction that tours the park in about 40 minutes. It allows you to efficiently explore the large park. 🦁 Natural Observations of Nocturnal Animals Observe animals that are active at night, such as lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants, and hyenas. 🌿 Walking Trails There are areas that can only be reached on foot, allowing you to see animals from a closer distance. 🎭 Creatures of the Night A popular show only available at night. Learn about the abilities and habits of animals up close. ⸻ 💡 Tips for Visiting * The park tends to get crowded right after opening, so advance reservations are recommended. * The tram is popular, so riding it earlier in the day will reduce waiting times. * The park is dark, making photography difficult. It's best to enjoy the scenery with your own eyes. * The "Night Zoo," an experience you can't have in Japan, is a unique charm of Singapore. There are many animals to see and it’s quite educational, especially for kids. Overall experience was fun and engaging, and the layout is easy to navigate. Good value for money considering the attractions and time you can spend there. Would recommend for families looking for a nature-themed activity.

This is a long-standing five-star hotel in Singapore. I stayed here for eight nights this time. It's my top choice for business and family trips to Singapore, offering great value for money. **Excellent Location** The location is superb. Right opposite the hotel exit is an MRT station. Although it's not a major line, it's convenient to get anywhere with a quick transfer. Within five or six minutes' walk, there's a large shopping center, The Great World, which has plenty of dining, shopping, and local specialty food options. The surrounding area is also a hub for tourist attractions, easily reachable by taxi or a few MRT stops. **Hotel Design** Given its five-star heritage and recent renovation, the rooms and hotel interior are very new and spacious. I was particularly impressed by the in-room coffee machine and water dispenser. Enjoying a rich cup of coffee while getting ready in the morning [smiley emoji] is a lovely touch. **Hotel Facilities** The swimming pool, gym, conference rooms, and restaurants are all well-equipped. **Service** I didn't get much chance to experience the service as I came back late and was out all day. My only minor complaint is the poor soundproofing. Perhaps it was because I was next to a door that seemed to lead nowhere, and the opening/closing sounds were loud. I could also hear cleaning staff making noise in the mornings. However, the front desk handled it very well, and they were much more careful afterward.

As our parents are celebrating their golden jubilee, we are upgraded to the premier rooms. They have decorated the rooms and did surprise us. The rooms are at level 12. Rooms are clean and with great views. The breakfast buffet had wide spread of options, there’s a lot of choose from. The only downside is that no ice cream was not provided on that day. Otherwise, I will give them a 10/10. Location is very convenient and connected the the main shopping streets of Orchard Road. It make our staycation a memorable one. We are so happy with the services provided by the front office and carousel restuarant that we decided to book the rooms again during Xmas time. Hope to see them soon.

I was a bit disappointed with the hotel during this second visit in June 2026. There was a noisy construction site outside the window, and drilling went on for several hours in one of the neighboring rooms due to renovations. I really wanted to rest after my journey but couldn't, neither in the room nor on the terrace. They couldn't find another room for me, but they tried to smooth things over, which is a plus for the hotel. This time, there were no welcome fruits, no second evening housekeeping service, and no replenishment of amenities, tea bags, or candies. Breakfast was good. The view was excellent; I watched the tree show from my room. Overall, considering the room price, I had hoped for better. My first visit was more enjoyable. It's best to go to the pool right when it opens at 6 AM – there are minimal people then. However, it's heavily chlorinated; even after washing, the smell wouldn't come out of my swimsuit. It was convenient that my room was in the same tower, so I could go to the pool in my bathrobe and slippers. There's free bottled water at the pool and a restaurant for snacks.

The hotel is located in the CBD area, making public transportation very convenient with plenty of options. The hotel's decor and facilities are a bit dated, but they are well-maintained. The room space is quite generous. The executive lounge service wasn't what I expected from an executive lounge; the hotel only offered some drinks and snacks in the afternoon and didn't provide all-day dining. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of Chinese food.

The room overlooks a park, and directly outside is a shopping mall. The Singapore River and the colorful fire station are right next door, and it's a short walk to Merlion Park. **I. Core Strengths: Impeccable Location and Surrounding Amenities** The Wyndham Singapore's greatest asset is its unbeatable location. Situated in the heart of the Civic District, it's only about 300 meters from City Hall MRT station, a mere 5-minute walk. This makes it incredibly convenient whether you're heading to the airport or exploring the city by subway. The hotel is surrounded by attractions; within a 10-minute walk, you can reach Clarke Quay, Fort Canning Park, the Old Hill Street Police Station (Rainbow Police Station), and St. Andrew's Cathedral, among other famous landmarks. Furthermore, the hotel is directly connected to Funan mall and has a 7-Eleven downstairs, offering an incredibly rich selection of dining and shopping options, perfectly suiting both business travelers and leisure tourists. **II. Facilities: Renovated Modernity and Leisure Amenities** Having opened in 1974 and completed a renovation in February 2025, this established luxury hotel has a new lease on life regarding its facilities. The hotel boasts 591 rooms, most of which are spacious. Some rooms feature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the city skyline at night, Marina Bay, or Fort Canning Hill. For leisure, the hotel has two outdoor pools, a 24-hour fitness center, and an exclusive executive lounge, 'The Study'. Additionally, the hotel's Jaspé restaurant serves exquisite French-Asian fusion cuisine, while Bentley's bar and the rooftop sky lounge are excellent spots to relax in the evening and enjoy the city skyline.

This hotel is centrally located, very convenient to the MRT and bus stops, making it easy to get around even on foot. As it's surrounded by several academies, it's a paradise for young people with plenty of shopping malls and restaurants. The rooms have basic amenities, but they are thoughtfully designed, such as the hot water dispenser in the room, and shared irons, ironing boards, fridges, and microwaves on each floor. There are also coin-operated laundry facilities, which are very useful given Singapore's hot weather. The laundry room is connected to the gym, a nice touch so you can work out while waiting. For short stays, they don't clean the room daily. The air conditioning is excellent. The bathroom, however, doesn't have a wet/dry separation.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a subway station right outside the door and another line a few hundred meters away that goes to Chinatown. It's about an 800-meter walk to the Fort Canning tree tunnel (a popular photo spot), and from there you can continue on to the Old Hill Street Police Station (also known as the Rainbow Police Station), Clarke Quay, and the Merlion. The room size is a definite advantage compared to other hotels in the same price range; there's plenty of space to walk even with two large suitcases. The bathroom size is standard as well. The downside is that the bathroom fixtures are quite old, and the shower is difficult to use. However, I was aware of this beforehand, so I was prepared, and given the other advantages, it's acceptable. The bedding is good, and the sofa is quite comfortable. Among the toiletries, only the shampoo, shower gel, and toothbrush weren't great; everything else was fine. The room has a kettle and comes with tea and coffee packets. There's also a water dispenser in the hallway where you can get iced or room temperature water. The hotel breakfast is decent, on par with business hotels in China. However, the service is excellent; they diligently restock drinks and food even at the last minute, even if there are only a few people dining. There are washing machines and dryers on the fourth floor, each costing 5 SGD, and you can get change for coins at the front desk. The commercial machines work very well; the dryer gets clothes completely dry in 40 minutes. There are also ironing facilities in the room. Overall, I recommend this hotel. If you have a higher budget, you might look elsewhere, but if you're looking for great value for money at this price point, you should definitely consider it.

I was impressed from start to finish with my Siloso Beach Resort experience. I arrived at Vivo City Harbourfront Station by train, suitcase in hand and was directed to the Sentosa Monorail on the top floor. There is a kiosk where I received my complimentary rail pass to Beach Ststion (last stop). Behind the train station is a free shuttle service which dropped me directly outside the Resort. Up to level 8 to complete my check-in which was conducted smoothly by the friendly desk team. They provided clear instructions for the ongoing use of monorail on the island and the free shuttle services around the island attractions. I received a cool upgrade and proceeded to my room which was clean and then refreshed each day. The location opposite the beach and a 7 minute walk to the train station which is surrounded by food outlets and stores to cater for your convenience. The team at Siloso Beach Resort enjoy their work and were always eager to assist with any enquiries, provision of umbrella or any guidance with onsite matters. We were pleased with the warm welcome and friendly service from the hotel receptionist during check-in. However, we were quite disappointed with the condition of the bathroom facilities and the lack of follow-up from the hotel team. During our stay, we encountered the following issues: (1) The bathroom door lock was faulty. (2) The shower head was detached from the hose and could not be used properly. We have reported these issues to the front desk for three times, but unfortunately, no one attended to them throughout our stay. This is an older hotel with basic facilities. It's comparable to a 3-star hotel in China, and the breakfast is about what you'd expect from a 3-4 star hotel there. Of course, the price is also around 300, but in Singapore dollars. If you're not traveling with family, you'd find much better standard room options and accommodations for the same price. Our family of four stayed here specifically for the two large beds. The hotel's location isn't far from the MRT station. Haji Lane and BOSS HOTEL (the starting point for the Legoland shuttle) are all within walking distance, and there are many bus routes nearby, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of food and drink options downstairs, and there's an Indian minimart across the street from the hotel that's much cheaper than the 7-Eleven down the block. I misplaced something and when I called, they immediately knew which room I was in and what I had lost, which shows excellent coordination between the front desk and housekeeping. Thumbs up for that!

Pros: Very close to VivoCity, just across the road (though you'll need to cross a few traffic lights). Other than that, there's not much else to write home about. The biggest problem is the excessive noise! The sound of vehicles (likely motorcycles) on the road at night is incredibly 'refreshing' – I've never had trouble sleeping before, but I was woken up multiple times. If you're a light sleeper, definitely avoid this place. The bed is also very high, so it's not suitable for seniors with mobility issues. The design of the bathroom and shower doors is quite odd, and the soundproofing in the room is terrible. Flushing the toilet in the middle of the night creates a very loud noise, which is disruptive to anyone else in the room.

Right next door, there's a money exchange office, making it super easy to get Singapore dollars, and you'll find UnionPay-friendly ATMs nearby too – really handy for tourists. The hotel staff were attentive and responsible. I was pleasantly surprised during check-in to find a staff member who spoke Mandarin, which really eased any communication stress. There was just one minor snag. On occasion, after the daily cleaning, the housekeeping staff on my floor would forget to restock some toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. I was back here after a while..there were some small changes here and there. Yes..keep it up for improvements! I requested for checking out at 1.00pm the next day and told the staff to take note so that their other staff would be aware as well. They said that it would be noted in the system. However, I still received a call just before 12 noon but I did not answer it as I was in the bathroom. Hmmm..oh well.. All else were acceptable for a short stay. Thank you.

Orchard Road Singapore|3.66km from city center
Located on the bustling Orchard Road, it's just a few minutes walk to the MRT station downstairs. There's also a large drugstore and a 24-hour cafe. Across the street is a shopping mall with everything you could need. There are direct buses to Universal Studios, and regular buses to the airport. The room itself is very smart, you can even adjust the bed's height.

I stayed for 2 nights and the hotel is super close to a lot of places including china town, Lau Pa Sat and Clarke Quay. Merlion is also not far to walk, maybe about 20 minutes! The staff were super attentive and very helpful with anything I needed, the check in/check out process was also very smooth ☺️ I used the pool for a bit and it was very clean and lovely views. They also have a small gym which was nice, I would definitely stay here again! 😁

This hotel boasts a prime location, close to everything! There's a bus stop right outside, and a subway station within a 10-minute walk, making getting around super convenient. Whether you're heading to Marina Bay or a concert at the stadium, it's less than a 15-minute journey. On the fourth floor, there's a pool and gym with views of the stadium and Marina Bay Sands. Upon check-out, I discovered it's an official hotel for the New Public Badminton tournament, so I'll definitely be back next year for the New Public!

Marina Bay Singapore|1.47km from city center
Our flight arrived early, and we got to the hotel around 8 AM. Luckily, our room was already prepared, so we were able to check in right away. After a refreshing shower and a short rest, we headed out to explore – it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel room has a balcony with an amazing view; we could see the Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Flyer, and the Merlion from there. On the 4th floor, there's a Peach Blossoms restaurant, which holds a Black Pearl rating. The food was delicious, but as expected, it was quite pricey. The subway station is just a few minutes' walk downstairs, making it very convenient for both taking the subway and getting a taxi.

Marina Bay Singapore|1.49km from city center
The location is great, right in the Marina Bay area, and all rooms have balconies with views overlooking Marina Bay. The twin beds are quite spacious. However, the overall design of the room and lobby isn't particularly memorable. The direct connection to the mall is a big plus; it's great for eating and shopping, especially on a rainy day! There's no bottled water in the room, just an empty bottle for you to refill yourself. The housekeeping was also a bit sloppy, especially after staying for several days – many amenities weren't replenished.

First time staying at Pan Pacific 3D2N stay was pleasant. As we book connecting room , and have to wait a bit longer for our other room to be ready the reception display their best professionalism to accommodate. The room was spacious, mini fridge filled with drinks and chocolate reserve for guests for quick snack. Like the motorized curtains. The amenities like coffee machine come in handy for a good coffee. Our high floor panoramic city view room, we did manage to catch a glimpse of the Singapore flyer, marina bay sands from outside our room which is a breath taking view. Hope we get to book marina view next time. The pool was big and my kids enjoy relaxing and swimming. The foot reflexology treatment was relaxing and comforting. Overall I'm delighted with my staycation from the moment we arrive, we were welcome and greeted by the bell attendant, front reception, even check out was smooth and till our departure the hotel staff hospitality has treated us well. On side note if room service food/halal breakfast spread is available would be added advantage for Muslim guests. 👍👍

Chinatown Singapore|0.83km from city center
The hotel's location is excellent. If you're traveling by subway, you can just use the side entrance to the mall, and the transfer at Chinatown station is super smooth. The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, which is great for those who need good sleep. The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's more than enough for daily needs, and they have all the standard coffee options. What's really cool is that they offer coffee in paper cups, which is a nice touch! Also, there's a fully automatic robot that cooks noodles, and they taste pretty good – definitely worth trying if you like noodles! The hotel service was fantastic. Overall, my friend and I were very satisfied. Next time I bring my whole family to Singapore, I'll definitely choose to stay here again because it's so convenient to get to VivoCity by subway. We can head over there for some spicy crab, haha! 😆

We arrived at 8:30 AM, and our reserved room wasn't ready yet. The front desk staff saw that we were tired and traveling with a small child. After getting our consent, she kindly upgraded our room, allowing us to get our room key early and rest. We're very grateful to this female staff member, though it's a pity we didn't catch her name. Overall, the hotel's dining and room service were excellent. We'll definitely choose The Ritz-Carlton again on our next visit to Singapore.

The room was nice and the surrounding area was very quiet! I stayed for several days, and on some of those days, my neighbors were Indian or Malaysian families with kids who made a lot of noise late into the night and started up again very early in the morning. However, the bedding was clean and comfortable, and the room design was sensible, making it look very tidy. Overall, it was a good check-in experience, though the check-out time of 12 PM was strictly enforced!

Singapore Changi Airport Region Singapore|17.83km from city center
We had a very comfortable stay at Yotelair Singapore Changi Airport. The location is extremely convenient, especially for travellers with an overnight transit or early/late flight. The room was clean, compact, and well designed, with everything we needed for a short rest. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were helpful. It was a bit pricey, but very worth it for the convenience and comfort inside the airport. Highly recommended for transit travellers.

Orchard Road Singapore|3.93km from city center
Location: Situated right in the heart of Orchard Road, it offers a great balance of being lively yet peaceful. It's not far from the subway station, and there's a supermarket right downstairs. Room Facilities: Overall pretty good, small but tidy, though the facilities are quite standard and the decor has a retro, vintage feel. Service: There was a very handsome Chinese front desk staff member who was incredibly patient and attentive. I stayed for an additional night, and he helped us arrange to stay in the same room, which was very thoughtful. Hotel Breakfast: The breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options! 👌🏻 You absolutely *must* try the homemade nasi lemak and all the different Indian curries – so incredibly tasty!
