"We recently enjoyed staying in room 3 over the weekend. The host was extremely welcoming and took the time to acquaint us with all the services and amenities available. Since there were few guests during our stay, we enjoyed exclusive moments in the jacuzzi and the fireplace in the lobby area, which added a special touch to our experience. The tranquillity of the place is genuinely commendable, providing a serene getaway. Our balcony view was breathtaking, complemented by the room's skyline windows. The room was well-equipped, ensuring guests had everything they needed. Highlights include a mini-kitchen sink with filtered water, a fridge, and a kettle with tea bags. While the shower head seemed relatively modern, a boost in water pressure would elevate the experience even more. For those considering a family retreat, Gateway seems suitable for larger groups if you book multiple rooms or the entire place. We left with fond memories and are eager to return in the future."

"Taman Sari is a beautiful private oasis where you can truly escape, reconnect and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful and natural surrounds while indulging in a little luxury. Every detail has been considered and mastered in this tranquil hideaway. Everything you need is provided for you on site, if you do do wish to venture out the area has much to offer in the way of beautiful walks, falls and places to dine. Your own private balcony is the perfect place to enjoy a nice glass and watch the sunset or enjoy your morning coffee with a freshly baked warmed cob loaf and croissants delivered to your room. There is also all the ingredients provided for a cooked breakfast on your own personal BBQ. We enjoyed a wine by the fire in the beautiful gardens listening to the wildlife and sitting with the dogs. While this accomodation is pet friendly you would never know, it was so meticulously clean, it was hard to believe there had previously been pets inside. Last but not least the bed was incredible, we often find this in where accommodation of this calibre can let you down but certainly not in the case, one of the best beds we have slept in. Outstanding experience, incredible value for money, we will be back for sure."

"Our two-night stay at ‘The Charleston’ cottage at Montville Misty View Cottages couldn’t be faulted. It really was the ultimate getaway and so easy to travel to from where we live on the Sunshine Coast. Shell, Tony and Luca were magnificent hosts. Once settled in, we felt like we were the only people in the world! My husband and I opted for the ‘Indulgence Package’, including a bottle of wine, fabulous and plentiful breakfast provisions for two days, a delicious Reef and Beef Dinner on one night with all elements of the meal ready for us in the Cottage, plus complimentary chocolate and port. The couples massage in our room was also amazing and we both felt like we were floating on air afterwards. We really didn’t need to leave our Cottage the whole time we were there, but we took a five-minute drive into the valley to see up close the beautiful Baroon Pocket Dam that our Cottage looked out over. The lush and diverse vegetation that surrounded us at the Cottage provided amazing privacy, quiet and a beautiful outlook over the bush, hills and the Dam/Lake. The Cottage was so comfortable and very tastefully appointed and had everything we could need or want during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Misty View Cottages and the ‘misty view’ is a real thing! Light rain during our stay only added to the ambience as we watched the mist rise and fall over the dam and valley across the three days. We even got the chance to light a fire in the wood fireplace and enjoyed even more charm in our little paradise get-a-way!"

"We arrived and we had 2 single beds in the room for a couple there website is not good,with trying to book a queen bed it shows a queen and 2 singles beds not good 🤔 and balcony to deck was locked so since the hotel took over the accommodation from last company that owned the rooms not really organised 😳"
