Birmingham NEC/Airport

Dirty- very dirty. Sheets, duvet, bathroom, surfaces- and when I noticed a disgusting stain on the duvet and told staff, the matter was treated as an inconvenience and I was told to wait 30mins as they were very busy. View of a rusting roof, filthy window sil.. best part was the self service check in and near the airport if that’s what you need otherwise really far out from everything else. Never again- staying well away from premier inn for all my onward stays

The hotel was easy to find and extremely clean and enjoyable. The only problem I had with the establishment was the atrociously high prices of parking.

I can honestly say I will never book to stay here again. To start the smell walking the corridor to our room was very stale(like sweaty feet) our room smelt just as bad. The edges of the carpet & skirting board was thick with dust, the bathroom floor wasn’t the best either. We had no sleep all night as there is absolutely no sound proofing in the floors, everytime a guest was getting up & walking around it sounded like a herd of elephants. This is the third year we have stayed here whilst attending the Gravity Show and Jen and her colleagues at the Premier Inn are awesome and Jen even judged our adult colouring in event LOL 😂

We stayed as a family while our daughter was taking part in the English Open Pickleball Championships at the NEC. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was clean, and we appreciated the free breakfasts for the children. The bar’s late opening hours were also convenient, although the drinks were quite expensive. We were disappointed that children’s evening meals were not included with the adult Meal Deals. We stayed in an accessible room, but there was no bathmat in the bath when we arrived, so we had to ask for one. The corridors were also quite narrow for a mobility scooter, particularly when housekeeping trolleys or equipment were present. Overall, we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. The friendly service and comfortable beds were the highlights, and we would consider staying again.

Stayed here for our holiday, very well placed for the airport. Room was fine, clean and quiet, pillows comfortable. Food was fine as we paid for the meal deal so pretty good value! Had red of car break ins but saw no evidence of this.

As one of the thousands taking part in the 2026Pickleball Open at Birmingham NEC I wanted a comfortable hotel close enough to walk to the venue and the Premier Inn fulfilled those conditions. What was a pleasant plus was that the staff there were exceptional. While the hotel itself - absolutely full of Picklers and athletics' fans at another big event - was the usual clean and well-appointed place we've come to expect from Premier Inns, staff professionalism and the level of service can sometimes vary. Here, they really couldn't do enough. They were pleasant, patient and helpful and a special word for the kitchen staff which ran a brisk, efficient service at all meals and especially breakfast with plenty of genuinely hot food constantly available and any requests for additional items supplied with a smile. This is the kind of hotel which provides a welcome, comfortable and affordable base for any occasion and anyone going to the NEC can happily make it their temporary "home".

Brilliant breakfast, so much choice. Great location too. Parking was a bit costly but our rooms were great aswell. Members of staff very friendly, helpful. One member of staff who was working the breakfast shift today went out of his way to get scrambled egg without milk for our little one (who has a severe milk allergy). Would stay here again.
