"The hotel is located in the forest and surrounded by greenery, making it a good place for golf enthusiasts. In the morning, you can see the beautiful scenery of the smoke. If you just want peace and hygiene, this is a good choice. The room and bathroom are large and air-conditioned. However, the waiter had a bad attitude. When she asked her why she had to write down her residence address when registering at the hotel, she was rude and actually asked the guest to translate it! The question is not the answer! Maybe their English skills are inferior!"

"Avoid ! It is a shame this hotel could be so much more in the delightful Braunfels but it is not. It has been supposedly renovated in the last few years but our room did not show this we had one of the bigger „Turm“ rooms but the furniture was old; an old wooden wardrobe an old writing desk(!) and what looked like a tv stand in the corner but the tv was on the writing desk - no drawers ! Very hot but we were there the hottest week of the year but having the windows open was not possible with the noise from the wine festival hence did not sleep for two nights. Bed also old wooden bed and not comfortable also no long mirror in the room so had to go into restaurant to look in the mirror hanging there. Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on that but staff also unfriendly with one telling me on the first day when I left my key in the room not to do that after 7pm as there are no staff and I won’t get in then to bring the spare key immediately back all said in a way that was telling me off! What was worse was that they added onto my credit card on check in 100 euros to cover any drinks I might have from the „honesty bar“ whilst this was credited back if they just paid for more staff they would not need to do this - I go to Braunfels a lot but I will never stay there again !"
