ACQUA IN BOCCA

Centro de Merida
The hotel is new and clean with many convenient amenities. It’s an easy walk to any sites and restaurants (Merida has so many good restaurants!). My husband and I stayed in the junior suite for four nights. The bed was very comfortable. We even had a spacious patio area overlooking the garden. As a light sleeper, I didn’t hear any traffic noise or other guests. The walls were thick enough that we never heard a peep from the guests in the room next to us. The staff was very nice and helpful. Gino, the owner, always had a bright smile on his face and offered us tea/coffee.
Wayam Mundo Imperial

The Wayam hotel is ideally located for tourism at the well known Colón Ave. near down town, just a couple of blocks away from the new convention center. Rooms are beautiful and wide, very comfortables, just make sure you are not facing the avenue as traffic’s noise comes up. Pool on the 4th floor has a beautiful view but too cold. All personnel is very friendly but still too new and untrained for the hotel standards. Still, too new to be great and a bit overpriced but Management is eager to improve.
Hacienda Inn

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of my trip to Progreso, February 28th and March 30th, as I was arriving late and departing early. Both of my rooms were impeccably clean, the amenities were provided and well stocked with towels. The closets are huge and contain an iron and a safe large enough for a laptop. Upon my first check-in I was advised the hours of the restaurant and was politely asked that if I was planning on bringing in food or alcohol from outside to please consume it in my room and not in the restaurant. This is not an unreasonable request, one would not walk into a hotel restaurant at home and sit down with a pizza and six pack. I had a comfortable night's rest and a delicious breakfast at the restaurant in the morning. Check out was noon and my ride was not arriving until 2:30 so they kindly stored my luggage and I enjoyed sitting by the pool while I waited. My second visit was for my return flight, I checked in just after 3:00 and was offered a wake up call and arrangement of a taxi to take me to the airport. I spent my last day of vacation enjoying a late lunch/early supper and a couple of cold beverages poolside before heading to my room to turn in early. My wake up call came precisely @4:00 and my taxi was there @5:00 as requested. I would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it, the staff are outstanding, the hotel is spotless and the restaurant food and service are fabulous. Masks were required at all times in public areas, unless you were eating or drinking, this policy was adhered to by all staff and guests.

La Casa del Turix

The landlord speaks Spanish very well, there is a simple breakfast, there is a swimming pool in the courtyard, and the environment is good, but it is not convenient to travel far away from the place of activity. It is recommended to stay in Merida near the bus company terminal (Terminal de Autobuses ADO CAME and TAME in English), the location is at the intersection of calle70 and calle69. Their streets are arranged in numbers, and the even numbers are north and south. Directional streets and alleys, singular ones are east-western streets and alleys, you can go to all the attractions in Merida, this terminus has a car and it is also close to the bustling city center;

Zona Norte
A very satisfactory choice. When you first arrive in Mexico, you must stay in a hotel with brand standards. The environment and location of the hotel are superb. It is in the shopping mall. There is a supermarket on the second floor. I bought a lot of fruits back to the hotel to eat. Must buy Mexican avocado 🥑, the taste is amazing! The price is also cheap. I want to comment the most thanks to the hotel staff, the girl and boy at the front desk have entered my friend list. Thank them very much for their assistance. The eldest sister in the room is also lovely, in short, very satisfied. recommend!
