This hotel, while keeping a cheap price, is well appointed and in a great area. Thoroughly recommend a stay in the hotel if you want a cheap and enjoyable stay in Mexico City.

Fabulous hotel for the price. My room was well appointed and clean. Quiet at night if you can put up with a little traffic noise. The free water was a huge bonus and saved me a lot of money.

The hotel was clean, and staff very helpful. Our room was very noisy - windows don't really dampen the road noise. They do offer ear plugs. Water cooler very welcome.

This was my second stay in as many years at Ayenda Frida Costa Azul. I had a wonderful stay there just like last year. I personally want to thank Alicia and Diego for accommodating me with a special request (muchas gracias). Because of people like them, I will keep coming back to this hotel whenever I am in Mexico City. In addition, the hotel is perfectly situated and just a few blocks from the historic center as well as the Metro.

Nice reception desk, on the edge of a sketchy neighborhood. Incredibly uncomfortable beds and pillows and there was not hot water in the showe.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They offered filtered water so you can get your own water when you liked. It was a good price and near the zocalo

Stayed two weeks and enjoyed it very much. Rooms are small, which is why they are economical. Everything was clean, 24 hour desk, staff was pleasant and efficient. Easy access to metro station and not too far from the Historical Center. Small restaurant next door is very good. Laundry across the street. NOISE: The street can be busy and noisy during the day, but is so very quiet at night. I studied for a professional exam, online, and found it manageable. I will stay again and I would recommend economy minded friends to stay there, as well.
