Hotels near The Antique Collectible Market in Miami Beach

We booked this hotel for 3 nights on Booking.com, where it was advertised as a 4 star hotel. The hotel itself is ok but it is definitely not 4 star. Location is pretty good and is close enough to walk to South Beach and Ocean Drive. The reception area is pleasant enough and the staff were ok (they were a little blunt but we found a lot of people on Miami Beach to be like that). Beware that they take a $100 deposit for the minibar in your room, which should be returned within 5 working days if you don't use it. We only checked out today so I'm hoping this will be the case. The pool was the smallest I've ever seen and always seemed to be in the shade (it's in a quadrangle within the hotel). We never went there and spent the days by the beach instead, which is only a few minutes walk away. The restaurant and bar area looks very nice, but in the 3 days we were there we didn't see one person in there. It was dead! The rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfy. The finish of the rooms wasn't great and definitely not what you'd see in a 4 star hotel, but everything worked just fine. There is a safe in the room but it is not secured to anything, which made it feel a little less safe! The bathroom was fine and had a decent shower. If you're looking for somewhere cheaper close to South Beach and you only plan on showering and sleeping there then I would recommend. However, if you want a 4 star hotel and plan on staying there all day to use the pool and bar/restaurant, I would probably avoid.

Pros - Hotel staff was very friendly and tried to help at all times - Location is convenient: very close to the beach, approx. 7 minutes to walk - The price I got was very cheap for Miami - Room was clean Cons - I didn't use the pool, but it doesn't look like a nice place where you want to spend your day. Go to the beach instead. - Room looked old-fashioned and is possibly 20 years old - Wifi was unstable at peak times - it would be all okay for that price, but the AC unit was *so* loud that it was incredibly hard to sleep, even with earplugs. The AC device looked quite outdated. I asked the concierge if there is a way to get another room, but they said that the AC is the same in all of the rooms. It was one of the loudest AC's I've experienced in my life, so I'd expect the management to look into that matter. I wouldn't recommend the hotel if you want to spend your holidays here.

Axel beach hotel was the best experience I could have asked for. We arrived early, and the hotel staff was immediately so welcoming. They allowed us to check in early and gave us great recommendations for things to do while in Miami. The atmosphere at axel beach hotel is so inclusive. We really enjoyed the facilites that included the bar and pool plus the gym. Also, the hotel is so close to the beach!When I come back to Miami, I will most definitely be staying here again!

Everything perfect, the hotel is very nice, the rooms are very spacious. It is located in the center of Coral Talks and with all the services around. The staff is very attentive. 100% recommendable

Extremely comfortable hotel, staff were excellent and pleasantly courteous throughout. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Miami. The hotel is conveniently situated just a couple of blocks away from Ocean Drive and in a quiet neighbourhood. It is just a block away from the Miami Convention Centre and Soundscape Park, from where you can pick up the City Sightseeing Tour buses and the FREE Miami Trolley bus service. A+++++

The price is not low, on average more than 2200 a night, of course it was set earlier, and later Ctrip reduced the price. So the sooner you set the cheaper is not necessarily right. No breakfast. Children with two double beds. By the way, when checking out, I charge an additional resort fee of $ 30 per night.

Had a horrible experience a couple of blocks away at some trashy place… But not only was this hotel the exact opposite of that, but they ACTUALLY got me in the vacation mood right back again. Luis the manager was nothing but a knowledgeable young man of the area and his hospitality is what got me to give this a shot. 10/10

The hotel room is quite big, and the sanitation is very clean. It's good that it's not in South Beach. It's not so noisy at night, and the hotel's sound insulation is very good, and the construction on the road can't be heard at all. The staff is very enthusiastic and responsible, but the parking is only valet parking, the price is 40 dollars a day

Worst hotel experience I've had in my entire life. Please don't stay here, it's not worth it at all! 1. The hotel is right next door to a nightclub that blasts aggressive EDM from 10pm to 7:30am, even on weekdays (I stayed here on a Wednesday). I wore heavy duty earplugs, a pillow over my head, and took sleeping pills, and I still wasn't able to fall asleep due to the thumping music that vibrated the whole room. There is no one at the front desk to help, and no one picks up the hotel phone line after hours. 2. On the rare occasion that someone is at the front desk, they are extremely rude and unhelpful. The morning after the nightmarish stay, I went down to ask the manger (Sam) to change my room due to reason 1. He just shook his head, told me to suck it up because I had already paid for my unrefundable stay, and that there was nothing he could do. He said all the rooms were full. When I showed him that there was still availability when I checked online, he said that those rooms were even louder than my room, so I'll be even more unhappy there. Whenever I offered more solutions, he would interrupt me and shake his head and tell me to suck it up. I almost had a panic attack out of frustration, shock at the poor customer service, and lack of sleep. If I were to collapse, he probably would have just told my corpse to suck it up. 3. The room itself was fine, nothing special, solid 2 or 3 star quality. However when we walked in we were overwhelmed by a strong, chemical-y, lemon smell. I'm guessing this was because the rooms aren't properly cleaned and are instead sprayed with cheap Febreze. The smell gave us a headache, so we had to leave immediately and open the windows while we were gone. When we came back, we tried to turn on the AC but it didn't work. We called the front desk but no one was there at 9pm. We had to just suck it up, as Sam would have said.

Work and fun bundled with a great location is the best recipe for a working mini vacation. From start to finish, we were greeted with smiles and friendly service. The food at our conference was delicious!!! Every area we visited/used in the facility were clean. Some of the furniture in our rooms was a bit worn, but honestly it is to be expected. We will definitely return and plan to stay a bit longer since it is so close to other places we wanted to see while in Miami.
