Location was good. Parking spots in front of the hotel were full the whole time, but were able to park the car nearby.

The hotel has a great location but finding a parking place is a challenge, especially in high season. The room is small but comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast was too crowded for us. For me the price was to high.

The property is conveniently located next to the beach for easy access. The room was not in great shape, with sand on the floor, burnt out lights, and broken towel holders. Parking is most definitely not included per the amenities listing, which resulted in feeding a meter to park anywhere close to the hotel.

Wij verbleven er in Paasweekend 2024 en we waren aangenaam verrast. We kregen een kamer op de achtste verdieping met zicht op de duinen en het stadje en zijdelings zeezicht. What a vieuw ! In de kamer lagen er zelfs kleine attenties voor ons klaar voor het paasweekend. Dit was een aangename verrassing. Ook ons klein hondje was meer dan welkom. Het ontbijt was top. Het is een buffet met alles erop en eraan, keuze genoeg uit diverse broodjes en ontbijtkoeken, allerlei soorten beleg, eitjes, yoghurt, fruit, honing, diverse fruitsappen, koffie, thee enz.. Er werd stelselmatig bijgevuld. We kwamen zeker niets te kort. Het personeel was vriendelijk tot en met. Niets was hen te veel. Leuk dat we met onze viervoeter in een aparte lounge mochten ontbijten. In hotel Excelsior voel je je meer dan thuis. We komen zeker en vast terug! Het hotel is een pareltje gelegen aan het strand te Middelkerke.

Hôtel bien situé quasi le long de la digue à Middelkerke, au calme des restaurants, commerces, ... Parking proche de l'hôtel ainsi que le tram. Les chambres sont propres, agréables, calmes, complètes (mini-bar, TV, salle d'eau et WC, tables et chaises, Wifi, linges et produits de toilette). La literie est confortable, le petit-déjeuner est copieux.

Der Empfang an der Rezeption war wirklich angenehm und freundlich. Man fühlt sich als Gast willkommen. Der Rezeptionist gab sich außerdem viel Mühe uns mit Informationen und Suggestionen zu unserem Aufenthalt zu helfen. Die Zimmer sind wirklich sauber, man sollte halt nur die etwas größeren Zimmer nehmen, da es sonst doch richtig eng wird, besonders im Bad. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch sehr gut nur wird es in der Saison richtig eng mit Parkplätzen und das Hotel selbst hat keine. Einziger negativer Punkt für uns war der Preis des Frühstücks da wir morgens eine Tasse Kaffee und vielleicht ein Brötchen oder Croissant essen.
