We stayed at the hotel on Boxing Day and had a really pleasant experience. The restaurant deserves a mention - the special Christmas menu was fabulous and exceeded our expectations. The buffet breakfast was also great and varied. The hotel location is convenient for the motorway (but not too close to be noisy), it’s next to a lovely park, has plenty of car parking. Our room was spacious and clean (if a little warm at night). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food is really perfect, The restaurant serves exceptional meals, my dessert was particularly nice in decoration, very impressed! Excellent experience!

The room was extremely smelly and they didn't have another room for me. Would never ever book again. Terrible experience

This Van der Valk hotel is a bit outdated. Douchecabines are small and watertaps are not correct adjustable. Also diner is not what you expect from a Van de Valk hotel restaurant. I needed to stay there because we needed to visit the hospital nearby. What I understood from peoplo living/working over there that it is one of the better hotels in the environment do.

Good experience . Helpful staff. Very clean. Big free car park. Lovely bottle of sparking water on arrival . Nice toiletries. V comfy beds. We had a balcony that was shared with other rooms . Very good value for money. Would stay there again.

Hotel reception and reception areas nice. Clean. However, very old, poorly maintained outside areas, customers place stuff/material outside. Feels like a hotel where refugees and long time stay workers are staying. Room is old, shower small and seems to be added after the facts.

The bathroom was also immaculate and well-stocked with toiletries. The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, as it was close to the Düsseldorf International Airport. The hotel's breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The restaurant and bar were also great, with a cozy atmosphere and attentive service. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Van der Valk Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Düsseldorf. The combination of excellent service, comfortable rooms, and great location make it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Very friendly persons at the recepcion desk and also in the restaurant. Very tasty food in restaurant. Near the hotel is nice big natural park with walking paths. Hotel room and bathroom was everyday nice clean and ready to use. Stefan (Slovakia)

Overall it is a very good hotel. Clean and location is goos( family visit) and the rooms were big with balcony and park view. The only thing are the beds not comfortable especially the pillows. This needs to be enhanced.

Great value overnight stay for very comfortable room. Perfect location close to motorway for an overnight stop. Reception staff were friendly, I didn’t have the breakfast due to an early departure but the evening meal was delicious with great service.
