From the moment you enter the grounds at Octant Vila Monte, you feel an incredible sense of tranquility. It is truly a magical place, and our only regret is that we aren’t staying longer. The staff are exceptional—warm, friendly, and so accommodating. They seem to anticipate whatever you might need, and their genuine kindness makes you feel completely cared for. The grounds are gorgeous, with lush greenery, beautiful plants, and magnificent old olive trees. Nature is woven into the entire experience, from the pool areas to the outdoor dining spaces. As an animal and nature lover, visiting the koi pond and its turtles became a daily highlight for me. With all that green surrounding you and a lovely breeze, it’s hard not to relax. The food deserves a 10+! Whether you’re a meat eater, pescatarian, or vegetarian, there is so much variety, with daily specials keeping things interesting. The chefs even accommodated us by preparing a mixed-seafood cataplana without octopus, since we don’t eat it. It was absolutely delicious, and that willingness to tailor a dish for us made the experience even more special. And the desserts? To die for! The room amenities are fantastic—they really do seem to think of everything. I also loved the thoughtful emphasis on well-being, nature, and sustainability, paired with high-quality products and every comfort you could want. It all feels luxurious and effortless. Although the resort welcomes families, the children and babies never detracted from the peaceful atmosphere during our stay. There are interactive play areas for children, and we noticed staff helping keep the little ones engaged. It’s lovely to see families enjoying themselves while the resort still feels so tranquil. I cannot say enough good things about Octant Vila Monte. The people, the food, the gardens, and the attention to detail make this somewhere truly special. I would wholeheartedly recommend it—and would happily stay longer!
