Erg goed hotel op een toplocatie. Zeer mooie en schone kamer met veel ruimte. Binnen een paar passen op het gezellige plein en binnen een paar minuten verdwaald in de prachtige straten van Montpellier.

Excellent location in the old town and close to the railway station. Very friendly and helpful staff. First floor room had some noice from the restaurant below & some street noice. Overall the hotel interior could use an upgrade.

Great location. It was fun walking out the door and being right in the old part of Montpellier. Just a short walk from train station as well.
Our room included breakfast which was delicious and convenient.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were super comfortable. Location was fantastic - close to restaurants, sites, shopping. All in all a terrific experience.

Grand Hotel du Midi was a central location ideal for our short visit to Montpellier. The room for 4 did the job nicely - the sofa bed was already open and prepared for us, and they were comfortable. I liked that the balcony doors could be opened (which faced the historic Credit Lyonnais building), and when you closed those doors - soundproof! Very good because the Comedie square is busy and noisy.
The hotel instructions for parking that get sent to you automatically are critical to follow - it took a bit of care, but we figured it out. We didn't take the tunnel as indicated, but just took the stairs up to Comedie square - bring your ticket for the discount (17 Euro) and present to th front desk.
The hotel itself has a classic character, with ornate staircases, stained-glass windows, and decor. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. I liked that water was provided and a nespresso.
