Best Western Moriarty Heritage Inn

Great place for passing through to Albuquerque. I wanted to stay outside the city. Location and parking lot felt safe which was my priority. Great hot breakfast, clean room, carpets a little dirty but that’s not unusual. I would stay again.

Hot tub was out of service due to “we can’t get the chemicals right”. Employees were friendly, but showed no desire to make accommodations for their lack of services.

My wife an I have stayed here in the past, an once again, the room was clean, an well taken care of. They did remove the carpet and installed hard flooring which made the room have a very noticeable echo. Unfortunately, they have a new policy that locals (within 60Miles) cant stay here. This made check in an interesting situation for us.. We were fortunately able to stay by signing a waver...? My wife an I like spending time together when we dont have the kids. We enjoy having a night to ourselves to relax an rest in a hotel. It is unfortunate for us being that we like this hotel an the location.

The staff were very friendly, but there were some issues with the room. The room was very cool when we got there, so I went and turned the unit on and set it to 72 degrees. After awhile it became extremely hot, so I went and turned it down to 65, and it just kept heating. I finally turned it down to 58 and it would keep it at about 74 in the room. A little warm for us, but manageable. In the mean time, my wife went to the bathroom and found feces splatters on the toilet seat, which she just washed off because she need to go after 10 hours on the road. Their were other signs of not being well cleaned...drink rings on tables, grubby floors and tub, etc. We took showers and the tub drained so slow that it was ankle deep by the time each of us were done. There were dispensers on the wall for soap, conditioner, and shampoo but there was nothing in them. Obviously we left with a very bad impression of Best Western and will probably steer clear of them from here on out. At $143.00 dollars for the 7 total hours we were there, we really felt completely ripped of. We were just too tired when we got there to go through the pain of moving to a new room, and we left at 4:30 in the morning and no one was at the desk to complain to, so we just ****** it up and left. Very nice coffee setup however...

Everything was great until breakfast. No food left by 7:30. Attendant did not want to help very much

We have stayed at this hotel many times. It is not new but always comfortable and the staff is always very welcoming. There are a few things to expect in an older hotel. The shower drain was very slow, the shower head was partially blocked. The a/c worked but the fan didn’t stay on when asked. All-in-all it is a good place to stay. I’m sure we will be back next time we travel.

While traveling we had a great stay at Best Western Heritage Inn. We stayed twice while visiting family for the holiday. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The Best Western sits a little away from highway, so area is quiet. Check In was quick and easy. Also very friendly staff. They also serve a breakfast in the morning before departure. We didn’t take advantage of because we left early. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Our room wasn't cleaned and it was noisy! We did get put in another room which the noise was worse there. Worst experience I have had!
