OYO 7481 Hotel Plaza

There was a light mistake with my room, that was solver efficiently and to my total satisfaction. Staf very friendly and helpful. Very silent as well- I could only see women at breakfast/ dinningroom. Although it may have had better days, the place keeps its essence and the furniture is the "proper good wood" one. Poor pressure on tap water and shower.... but the country is not in its best times. Hotel provides or offers you all the information, contacts or reservations you may need during your stay. ROOMS: spacious and clean; very comfortable beds. Dusty balcony (but not hotel fault..... all around is polution and dust). Very well isolated. Adjunct sitting room with flat Tv , some free drinks, and sweets. ***y switches for recharging batteries. Good free Wifi at lobby, not so good at rooms. Very nice experience. The hotel, the country and its people deserve better times again.

Stayed here as part of a tour (agent decided it). First night was in a room that could do with renovating/ was dated and last few days of the tour were in another room that didn’t have hot water. How can I phrase it… the rooms seem hot and miss and probably could all do with being updated/ their problems fixed. The staff were friendly, the reception was useful (apart from when it came to clean towels or loo roll) and the location is good for restaurants.

I liked the Sub-Sahara-African flair with solid hard wood doors and thick curtains. My room was spacious, breakfast was very tasty with a varied choice, tv and aircon worked, I had hot water and the hotel is centrally situated- what more would I have wished for?
