Hotel is new and very well presented with larger and modern rooms. It is well located within the town centre with river view rooms having great views over the river. Amenities are good with a small Gym and an infinity pool. Being part of a Hotel/Pub their are good meal options downstairs. Ample free parking outside the hotel and secure underground parking for the guests. Only minus was lack of acknowledgement of wife's special birthday which had been advised prior to stay. Note that for a country hotel the high price is equivalent to staying in a reasonable hotel in Adelaide Centre or Glenelg.

We were greeted with a warm friendly receptionist who gave us a lovely doggie treat bag. The room was spotlessly clean with nice clean laminate flooring for a change (instead of the usual beaten up pet carpets.) A little bit of traffic noise from the main highway but a spacious, comfortable room and newer facilities. Some good grassy areas out front of the hotel for short walks and a very happy pooch. Will definitely stay here again.
